Bohm went 4-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a walk in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Reds.
Bohm's been on a tear of late. He now has multiple hits in four straight contests while extending his hitting streak to eight games -- he's 16-for-30 with a 1.522 OPS in that span. The 27-year-old Bohm's now slashing .337/.430/.558 with three homers, 21 RBI and 11 runs scored through his first 25 games this season.

Phillies' Kody Clemens: Sent back to minors
The Phillies optioned Clemens to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday.
He was up with the big club for three games while Bryce Harper was on paternity leave, but he'll now head back to Lehigh Valley as Harper rejoins the club ahead of Thursday's game in Cincinnati. Clemens went 2-for-4 with a home run in his lone start this week.

The Phillies reinstated Harper (personal) from the paternity leave list Thursday.
Harper missed the first three games of the series in Cincinnati after welcoming his third child into the world, but he's back for the series finale in Cincinnati. The two-time MVP will start at first base and bat third against the Reds.

Phillies' Spencer Turnbull: Strikes out eight Wednesday
Turnbull didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Cincinnati, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out eight.
It was another strong effort from Turnbull, who set a season-high with eight strikeouts while allowing just one run on a Will Benson solo homer in the third inning. Turnbull has been exceptional to start the year, going 2-0 with a 1.33 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 30:10 K:BB through 27 innings. Still, with Taijuan Walker (shoulder) returning from the IL, Turnbull will head to the bullpen in an effort to manage his innings. The right-hander figures to be first in line should the Phillies need help in the rotation later this season.

Marsh went 0-for-3 with a walk as the Phillies' cleanup hitter in Monday's 7-0 win in the series opener in Cincinnati, but he now finds himself on the bench for the second day in a row while Philadelphia opposes a left-handed starting pitcher (Nick Lodolo) once again. Cristian Pache will draw the start in left field and should continue to fill the short side of a platoon with the lefty-hitting Marsh.

Pache will make his sixth start of the season and his second in as many days while the lefty-hitting Brandon Marsh checks out of the lineup with southpaw Nick Lodolo on the bump for Cincinnati. The right-handed-hitting Pache is expected to fill the short side of a platoon in the outfield for as long as he remains on the 26-man active roster.

Bohm went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI in Tuesday's 8-1 loss to the Reds.
Bohm was the lone Phillie with more than one hit and drove in their lone run Tuesday with a two-out double off Andrew Abbott in the opening frame. The 27-year-old Bohm has now hit safely in seven straight games, going 12-for-26 in that span, while recording multiple hits in four of his last five contests. He's boosted his slash line to .305/.400/.524 with three homers, seven doubles and 19 RBI through his first 95 plate appearances while batting in the middle of a potent Philadelphia lineup.

Phillies' Cristopher Sanchez: Falls to Cincinnati
Sanchez (1-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Reds, allowing five runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks over three innings. He struck out three.
Sanchez struggled with command Tuesday, but the Phillies defense certainly didn't do him any favors, committing three errors behind the left-hander in the eventual 8-1 loss. It's a disappointing effort from Sanchez after he was dominant in his last outing versus Colorado, allowing one run while striking out 10 in a win. He now sports a 2.96 ERA with a 1.48 WHIP and 28:11 K:BB through five outings (24.1 innings) this season. Sanchez is currently slated for a road matchup with the Angles on Monday in his next start.

Phillies' Luis Ortiz: Starts rehab stint
The Phillies assigned Ortiz (ankle) to Single-A Clearwater on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment.
Ortiz suffered an ankle sprain in his season debut March 30 but is now ready for game action. The right-hander could make a few appearances in the minors before being cleared to join the Phillies.

Phillies' Taijuan Walker: Rejoining rotation Sunday
Manager Rob Thomson said Walker (shoulder) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Sunday against the Padres, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The veteran right-hander allowed four runs over 6.1 innings during his third minor-league rehab start Sunday, and a successful bullpen session Tuesday was his final hurdle before being cleared to return. Walker posted a 4.38 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 138:71 K:BB across 172.2 innings last season for the Phillies.

Phillies' Kody Clemens: Homers, doubles in season debut
Clemens went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and a double during Monday's 7-0 win over the Reds.
Clemens filled the role of Bryce Harper (personal) rather admirably, earning the start at first base and contributing two extra-base hits. Following his double in the fourth, Clemens capped his day with a three-run homer over the wall in right center on a full count in the ninth to help rubber stamp the Phillies' win. Despite the performance, Clemens may not remain in Philly for much longer, as Harper should return from the paternity list in a few days, likely signaling Clemens' return to Triple-A.
