Balanc scores 20, Quinnipiac takes down Manhattan 84-65
NEW YORK (AP) Matt Balanc scored 20 points and Quinnipiac defeated Manhattan 84-65 on Sunday.
Balanc shot 7 for 16, including 5 for 10 from beyond the arc for the Bobcats (10-5, 1-3 Mid-Atlantic). Paul Otieno scored 17 points and added eight rebounds. Dezi Jones had 17 points and nine assists.
Anthony Nelson led the way for the Jaspers (4-9, 2-2) with 20 points and two steals. Nick Brennen added 18 points for Manhattan.
Both teams play on Friday. Quinnipiac visits Rider and Manhattan hosts Canisius.
