DeGruy scores 16 as Abilene Christian beats Texas A&M-CC 73-63 in CIT
STEPHENVILLE, Texas (AP) Nasir DeGruy had 16 points in Abilene Christian's 73-63 victory over Texas A&M-CC on Tuesday night in the CIT.
DeGruy shot 7 for 11, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc for the Wildcats (16-17). Leonardo Bettiol scored 15 points and added 10 rebounds. Cameron Steele shot 3 for 6 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line to finish with 10 points.
The Islanders (21-12) were led in scoring by Jordan Roberts, who finished with 22 points and three steals. Kam Parker added 12 points for Texas A&M-CC. Garry Clark had 11 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
