The Colgate Raiders (19-10, 11-5) continue their quest for a Patriot League title and an NCAA Tournament bid when they host the Holy Cross Crusaders (15-14, 6-10) at 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday. It's essentially a three-team race in the Patriot League, with Colgate tied with Lehigh for second place, just one game behind Bucknell. But as March approaches, even a team like Holy Cross can get hot and make a run through the conference tournament, so every game matters at this point. The Raiders are 9.5-point favorites in the latest Colgate vs. Holy Cross odds, with the over-under set at 136. Before locking in any Colgate vs. Holy Cross picks of your own, be sure to scope out the top college basketball predictions from SportsLine's proven model.

This model, which simulates every game 10,000 times, has raked in the winnings for those following its picks. Over the past two years, the SportsLine Projection Model has returned nearly $4,200 to $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks. It also entered Week 17 of the 2018-19 college basketball season on a blistering 107-79 run against the spread. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now the model has dialed in on Colgate vs. Holy Cross. We can tell you it is leaning over, and it has also generated a strong against the spread pick that cashes in well over 50 percent of simulations. That one is only available at SportsLine.

The model has taken into account that Colgate is perhaps the hottest team in the Patriot League. The Raiders have been rolling with six consecutive wins, knocking off conference powers like Bucknell and Lehigh in the process.

Fresh off a 22-point victory against Navy, Colgate has plenty of confidence as it looks to close in on a conference title in the final week of regular-season play for the Patriot League. Guard Jordan Burns is the biggest scoring threat (16.5 ppg) for Colgate, while forward Rapolas Ivanauskas (15.9 ppg, 8.2 rpg) is pushing for All-Conference honors.

But the Raiders' hot streak doesn't guarantee they will cover the Colgate vs. Holy Cross spread on Wednesday.

The model also knows the six-game winning streak for Colgate includes a victory over Holy Cross, but it was a 74-70 final that was virtually even all game. The Raiders also were a red-hot 52.4 percent from beyond the arc in that contest, a number that will be tough to replicate on Wednesday.

And while Holy Cross is well behind Colgate in the standings, the Crusaders have had no issue keeping games competitive. They've won three of their past six conference games straight-up, and only one loss during that span came by more than four points. Add in the fact that they have a winning record against the spread on the road this year and the Crusaders certainly have the look of a team that could beat expectations on Wednesday.

So who wins Holy Cross vs. Colgate? And which side of the spread can you bank on in well over 50 percent of simulations?
