Commanders' Milo Eifler: Activated from IR
The Commanders activated Eifler (hamstring) from injured reserve Friday, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.
Eifler sustained a hamstring injury back in Week 4 versus the Cowboys, and he was then placed on injured reserve up until the team designated his return Tuesday. Following Friday's activation, the 225-pounder is slated to operate as Washington's top available middle linebacker Sunday against the Falcons with Cole Holcomb (foot) and Drew White (knee) both currently on IR.

Commanders' Milo Eifler: Nearing return to action
Eifler (hamstring) was designated to return from IR on Tuesday, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Eifler suffered the injury Week 4 against the Cowboys and was placed on injured reserve Oct. 8. The 24-year-old has mostly contributed on special teams this season, but with Cole Holcomb currently dealing with a foot injury, Eifler could have a bigger role than usual if he is able to play Sunday against the Falcons.

Eifler suffered a hamstring injury in Sunday's 25-10 loss to the Cowboys, and he's failed to practice since. The 24-year-old linebacker has just one tackle through the team's first four games, so his absence likely won't affect Washington's defensive scheme for Sunday's contest against the Titans. Eifler's next opportunity to play comes Thursday night in Chicago.

Eifler (undisclosed) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
Eifler was placed on the COVID-19 list last week but is now clear of the health and safety protocols. He was signed off Miami's practice squad in early December and shouldn't have a significant defensive role for Washington this weekend in Dallas.

Football Team's Milo Eifler: Signed from practice squad
Eifler was signed from the Dolphins' practice squad by Washington on Tuesday.
Eifler went undrafted out of Illinois and spent training camp with the Jets before being cut. He then signed on with the Dolphins' practice squad, but he never made his way to the active roster. The 23-year-old will add depth to Washington's linebacker unit after Benjamin St-Juste was placed on IR on Dec. 2 with a concussion, and Khaleke Hudson (ankle) was placed on IR on Tuesday.
