Spector will be unable to suit up for the divisional round due to a back injury he sustained during Monday's win versus the Steelers. His being sidelined could open up the possibility that Tyler Matakevich sees a limited role on defense Sunday.

Spector (hamstring) was a full participant in Friday's practice.
The 25-year-old linebacker missed Buffalo's last three games after he was activated from injured reserve in mid-October, but it now seems as if he's moved past his hamstring issue. With Terrel Bernard (concussion) listed as questionable for Monday night's contest, Spector could see an increased role on the Bills' defense in his 2023 debut.

Bills' Baylon Spector: Out Sunday
Spector (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
The second-year linebacker out of Clemson was activated from injured reserve in the middle of October, and he's now set to miss his third consecutive game since his activation. Spector appeared in six games for the Bills in 2022, recording six total tackles and playing primarily on special teams (60 percent of special teams snaps).

Spector (hamstring) will not play in Thursday's game against the Buccaneers.
Although Spector was activated from injured reserve Oct. 14, he will now have missed two consecutive games since then. His next chance for his season debut will come in Week 9 versus the Bengals. The second-year pro was primarily a special teams contributor and depth linebacker last year in his rookie season.

He was designated to return from IR on Wednesday and has now been cleared to make his 2023 debut Sunday versus the Giants. The second-year pro played mostly on special teams during his rookie campaign and figures to work as a depth linebacker upon his return.

Spector has been out since suffering a hamstring injury during the preseason but is now one step closer toward making his return.
