Leake reverted to Washington's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
The Maryland product made his NFL debut during Week 14, receiving six special-teams snaps during a 23-15 win against San Francisco. Though Antonio Gibson (toe) was unavailable for the contest, Leake did not garner any of Washington's 23 RB carries.

Football Team's Javon Leake: Elevates from practice squad
The Football Team elevated Leake to the active roster Saturday.
Leake's NFL debut looks to be in store for Sunday's game against the 49ers with Antonio Gibson (toe) sidelined. An undrafted rookie out of Maryland, Leake generated 736 yards and eight touchdowns on 102 carries (7.2 yards per carry) and caught nine passes for 55 yards in his final collegiate season. His work projects to be minimal behind J.D. McKissic and Peyton Barber.

The Football Team placed Leake on the practice squad COVID-19 list Monday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Leake has either tested positive for the virus or come into close contact with an infected person. He won't be allowed to return to team activities until he clears the league's COVID-19 protocols.
