Sanchez re-signed with the Twins on a minor-league contract Jan. 30.
Sanchez ended the 2022 season with the Twins. The right-hander posted a disappointing .660 ERA in 15 appearances -- 10 starts -- over 60 innings with Minnesota and the Nationals. Once one of the more promising young arms in baseball, Sanchez now will have to pitch well in the Grapefruit League if he has any chance of making the Twins' Opening Day roster.
