Hamilton joined the active roster for the weekend series in Toronto as part of a group of replacements for players whose decision not to vaccinate themselves against COVID-19 made them ineligible to enter Canada. He allowed two runs in 2.2 innings of relief in his lone outing and may have to wait a while for his next opportunity.
