Yurtseven (ankle) is expected to undergo surgery later this week and is out indefinitely, Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald reports.

Yurtseven has already missed each of the Heat's first 13 regular-season games, and with surgery on tap, he'll be in store for an even longer absence to begin the campaign. According to Chiang, the Heat are hopeful that Yurtseven can make a full recovery from surgery in around three months, which would put his timeline to return somewhere around late February or early March. The 24-year-old big man will become a restricted free agent this summer.
