  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Good to go against Chicago

Hartenstein isn't on the injury report for Sunday's game versus the Bulls. Hartenstein will return to action Sunday after missing the Knicks' previous contest due to left Achilles injury management. Hartenstein should reclaim his starting spot from Jericho Sims against Chicago.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Won't play Friday

Hartenstein is out for Friday's game versus the Nets due to left Achilles injury management. The Knicks will hold Hartenstein, who missed time earlier in the campaign due to an Achilles injury, out of the second leg of their back-to-back Friday. Mitchell Robinson will likely start in Hartenstein's absence, while the latter's next chance to suit up is Sunday's regular-season finale versus Chicago.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Picks up double-double Thursday

Hartenstein logged 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal in 33 minutes during Thursday's 118-109 victory over the Celtics. Hartenstein recorded a double-double for the second time over his last three appearances, and while he doesn't hold a prominent role in an offensive scheme led by Jalen Brunson, the big man has found ways to contribute regularly in a starting role. Hartenstein is averaging 10.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game over his last 10 games while scoring in double digits in four straight appearances.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Double-doubles in win

Hartenstein closed with 18 points (8-9 FG, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 29 minutes during Sunday's 122-109 win over the Bucks. Mitchell Robinson continues to play a limited role off the bench, and Hartenstein likely holds onto his starting job moving forward. He's been a top-50 player in nine-category formats for the past month, averaging 10.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Records double-double Sunday

Hartenstein had 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-7 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Sunday's 113-112 loss to Oklahoma City. Hartenstein was efficient from the field and active on the glass en route to posting his first double-double since March 18. Hartenstein doesn't get many touches on offense, which limits his upside a bit, but he's been able to deliver solid numbers across the board regardless of that. Over his last 10 outings, he's averaging 11.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.2 steals per contest.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Good to go

Hartenstein (wrist) is available for Sunday's game against the Thunder, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports. As expected, Hartenstein has been upgraded from probable to available and will play despite a wrist strain. Over his last six appearances, he's averaged 13.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.5 blocks in 24.7 minutes per game.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Probable to face Oklahoma City

Hartenstein is probable to play Sunday against the Thunder despite a right wrist sprain. Hartenstein has started 14 games in a row, and while his status is in doubt to face Chet Holmgren and the Thunder on Sunday, the fact that he is listed as probable suggests he has a good chance of being available. Hartenstein is averaging 9.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game since the beginning of March.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Looking healthier

Hartenstein ended with 17 points (8-10 FG, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and four steals over 26 minutes during Saturday's 105-93 win over Brooklyn. The 25-year-old center has had trouble making an impact since the All-Star break as he played through a nagging Achilles injury, but Hartenstein may finally be 100 percent healthy again. He's scored in double digits in three straight games, and over the last five, he has averaged 13.2 points, 10.0 boards, 2.8 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.6 steals, numbers much closer to his production before getting hurt in early February.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Scores season-high 20 points

Hartenstein recorded 20 points (8-10 FG, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 26 minutes before fouling out of Thursday's 113-100 loss to Denver. Hartenstein had one of his best performances of the season while battling against his former teammate, Nikola Jokic, on both ends of the court, but his efforts were not enough to lift the Knicks to victory here. The 20-point output was a season-high mark for Harstenstein, who's averaging just 8.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in March.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Back on track Saturday

Hartenstein closed with seven points (3-3 FG, 1-1 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists, four blocks and one steal across 28 minutes during Saturday's 98-91 win over the Kings. Hartenstein got back on track in the win, grabbing 14 boards, to go with five combined steals and blocks. He continues to work his way back from an Achilles injury, which has limited his workload over the past few weeks. While this was certainly a step in the right direction, managers would love to see at least one more game before declaring him back to his best.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Plays 24 minutes in loss

Hartenstein supplied three points (1-1 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists across 24 minutes during Sunday's 79-73 loss to Philadelphia. Hartenstein didn't seem comfortable Sunday, and at one point, he briefly went to the locker room in the third quarter. He was sporting a heating pad on his back on the bench, but he was able to return to the game. According to Fred Katz of The Athletic, coach Tom Thibodeau said he was unaware of any injury, so it doesn't sound like Hartenstein is dealing with anything too serious, though his minutes continue to be capped after returning from an Achilles issue.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Starting against Warriors

Hartenstein is in the starting lineup to face the Warriors on Thursday. Hartenstein was not listed on the injury report prior to this game, so his return to the starting lineup is not entirely surprising, as he is firmly entrenched as the starting center when available. This move means Jericho Sims will head back to a bench role. Hartenstein is averaging 8.1 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in February.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Ruled out Tuesday

Hartenstein (Achilles) will not play Tuesday versus the Pelicans, Steve Popper of Newsday reports. With Hartenstein sitting out, Precious Achiuwa will log heavy minutes, while Jericho Sims should factor considerably into the center rotation as well.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Iffy for Tuesday

Hartenstein (Achilles) is listed asquestionable for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans. Tuesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so the Knicks are likely contemplating giving Hartenstein a maintenance day following his recent return from left Achilles tendinopathy. Hartenstein's playing time has been trending up steadily since his return to the lineup coming out of the All-Star break, with the 25-year-old most recently playing 27 minutes in Monday's 113-111 win over the Pistons. If New York opts to hold Hartenstein out Tuesday, Precious Achiuwa and Jericho Sims would cover all the minutes at center.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Logs just 11 minutes in return

Hartenstein (Achilles) played 11 minutes and recorded two rebounds and one steal in Thursday's 110-96 win over the 76ers. The Knicks cleared Hartenstein to play after he had missed the final three games before the All-Star break with left Achilles tendinopathy, but the center appeared to be operating with some restrictions in his return. Hartenstein will likely see his minutes get ramped up in the games to come as he gets further removed from the Achilles injury, but his playing-time ceiling may be lower than it had been prior to getting hurt. In addition to Precious Achiuwa (38 minutes Thursday) starting to earn the trust of head coach Tom Thibodeau while dabbling between the two frontcourt spots, the Knicks also could get Mitchell Robinson (ankle) back in the fold at some point in the next few weeks.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Says he'll play vs. Philadelphia

Hartenstein (Achilles) said he'll play in Thursday's game against the 76ers, Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reports. He's in the starting lineup. Hartenstein was unavailable for the Knicks' final three games before the All-Star break, but he was listed as probable ahead of Thursday's matchup. He's officially been cleared to suit up, but coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game that Hartenstein will have playing time "guidelines," per Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com. Thibodeau didn't specify that Hartenstein's playing time would be significantly scaled back, but the big man will play in shorter stints as he attempts to ramp up to 100 percent ahead of the playoffs.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Won't play Wednesday

Hartenstein (Achilles) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Orlando, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports. Hartenstein continues to deal with left Achilles tendinopathy and will be unavailable for a third consecutive game. He'll have time to rest during the All-Star break, while Taj Gibson, Precious Achiuwa and Jericho Sims could handle increased roles Wednesday.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Questionable for Monday

Hartenstein (Achilles) is questionable for Monday's game against the Rockets. Hartenstein is in jeopardy of missing a second consecutive game due to an Achilles injury he suffered in Thursday's game against Dallas. If he is unable to go, Jericho Sims (illness, probable), Taj Gibson and Precious Achiuwa could be in line for increased minutes.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Tweaks Achilles in Thursday's game

Hartenstein won't return to Thursday's game against the Mavericks due to a sore left Achilles, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports. He finished with 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 15 minutes. Hartenstein previously missed two games in late January with left Achilles soreness, so it's less than ideal that he's seemingly dealing with a related setback. Precious Achiuwa has been seeing extended run at power forward of late while the Knicks have been without Julius Randle (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (elbow), and Achiuwa would likely shift over to center if Hartenstein isn't available for the Knicks' next game Saturday versus the Pacers.

  • Knicks' Isaiah Hartenstein: Makes mark on defense Tuesday

Hartenstein closed Tuesday's 123-113 victory over Memphis with 17 points (7-8 FG, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals across 35 minutes. The five combined blocks and steals were Hartenstein's highest total since Jan. 13, when he produced four blocks and two steals against the Grizzlies. The 25-year-old center has also stepped up his offensive contributions while Julius Randle (shoulder) and OG Anunoby (elbow) have been unavailable. Over the last five games, Hartenstein is averaging 11.8 points, 11.6 boards, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks while shooting 64.1 percent from the floor.
