The Cowboys DST has a lot of work to do before Fantasy owners can trust them as a starting option, and they should not be drafted in the majority of leagues. In 2015, the Cowboys DST was No. 27 in Fantasy points with eight interceptions, 31 sacks, three fumble recoveries, two touchdowns and 374 points allowed. The 11 turnovers were the lowest in the NFL, and that's something Fantasy owners will covet. Fixing the defense is a huge concern this season, and until Fantasy owners see progress they will avoid the Cowboys DST in the majority of leagues. The unit should not be drafted in most formats, but hopefully things will improve to make them a waiver wire option during the year.
