The Eagles DST was actually a Top 12 Fantasy option in standard leagues in 2015, but they need to improve this year for Fantasy owners to count on them. Last year, the Eagles had 15 interceptions, 37 sacks, 11 fumble recoveries, seven DST touchdowns and allowed 430 points. The touchdowns tied for best in the NFL, but the points allowed were fifth-worst. An overhaul in personnel is needed, especially after losing guys like Kiko Alonso, Byron Maxwell, DeMeco Ryans and Cedric Thornton. Nigel Bradham and Leodis McKelvin were brought in, and Fletcher Cox is still great up front, but this unit needs work. You can't count on DST touchdowns to save your production, and the Eagles DST is only a low-end option in the majority of leagues and should not be drafted in most formats.
