Bears' Germain Ifedi: Designated to return

Ifedi (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Thursday, Adam Hoge of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

Ifedi has missed the last eight games with a knee injury, but he'll have a chance to return Monday against the Vikings. Larry Borom and Elijah Wilkinson are both on the reserve/COVID-19 list, so Ifedi would likely play a key role on the offensive line if he's cleared to return this week.
