Levy underwent surgery on his right knee in an effort to repair a torn meniscus suffered during the 2016 season, Michael Rothstein of ESPN reports.
Levy was released by the Lions back in March after playing only six games during the last two seasons. Injuries have plagued the linebacker after a stellar stretch of play in 2013 and 2014, but if he is able to get healthy again, he should see an opportunity to play on an NFL club. Levy has recorded 639 tackles, 12 interceptions, and two forced fumbles over his eight-year NFL career.
