Hayden (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Alison Lukan of Root Sports reports.
Hayden underwent surgery March 20 and the time frame was expected to be 12 weeks. effectively ending his season. Hayden had two goals and seven PIM in seven NHL games this season.
