Zadina (broken leg) was activated from injured reserve Thursday and sent to AHL Grand Rapids on a conditioning stint.
Zadina has missed almost three months with the injury, as he was hurt Nov. 5 versus the Islanders. The former sixth-overall pick in 2018, Zadina was pointless in nine games to start the season. He could return as early as Tuesday when the Red Wings host the Oilers.
