Mullins went 2-for-5 with a double, a three-run home run and an additional RBI in Monday's win over Houston.
After tying the game 5-5 with an RBI double in the seventh inning, Mullins blasted a clutch three-run homer off Ryan Pressly in the ninth, powering Baltimore to an 8-7 win. Mullins went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and two runs scored in Monday's victory over the Cardinals.
Mullins singled and scored the Orioles' initial run of the contest in the second, but it was his fifth-inning go-ahead grand slam that provided the dagger for the O's. It's been an up and down season for Mullins but following hitting .188 in August, Mullins is 9-for-28 for a .321 average in September with two homers, 10 RBI, six runs scored and two steals.

Orioles' Cedric Mullins: On bench against southpaw
Mullins will sit against lefty Chris Sale and the Red Sox on Saturday.
Mullins has spent large stretches of the season as a true everyday player, but the Orioles have turned to other players in center field against the last three southpaws they've faced. Aaron Hicks will get that assignment Saturday. Mullins has had fairly standard splits this season, posting a .787 OPS against righties and a .721 OPS against lefties, which means he wouldn't look out of place in a genuine everyday role but is no lock to reclaim one down the stretch.

Mullins isn't in the Orioles' lineup Tuesday against the Angels.

Orioles' Cedric Mullins: Slugs three-run homer
Mullins went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk Saturday in a 7-3 victory versus the Diamondbacks.
Mullins had the big hit in Baltimore's six-run fourth inning, belting a three-run shot to right field to put the Orioles on the scoreboard. That long ball accounted for more RBI than he had logged over his previous seven games combined, as he came into the contest in the midst of a 3-for-24 stretch at the plate. Mullins has battled a groin injury through much of the campaign and hasn't yet found a groove, though he's been moderately productive with a .245/.324/.447 slash line, 13 homers, 60 RBI, 41 runs and 16 stolen bases over 367 plate appearances.

Orioles' Cedric Mullins: Records 16th steal
Mullins went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Mullins hasn't found much success at the plate since returning from a groin injury, going 13-for-68 (.191) over his last 19 games. While three of those hits are home runs, his inability to get on base has limited him to two steals in that span. The outfielder is at a .245/.322/.439 slash line with 12 homers, 16 steals, 57 RBI, 40 runs scored, 20 doubles and three triples through 88 games. It wouldn't be surprising to see Mullins sit more frequently versus left-handed pitchers if he can't turn things around soon.

Orioles' Cedric Mullins: Homers in loss
Mullins went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Rockies.
Mullins lifted a fly ball in the fifth over the right-field wall to provide the Orioles with their initial run of the contest. It was the 12th homer of the year for Mullins and just his third off a fellow southpaw. Mullins, who also drew a walk, had been struggling coming into the game with just a .196 average and one walk in 51 August at-bats. He's spent the past week hitting out of the bottom third of the lineup as he attempts to break out of his slump.
