Clase went 2-for-4 with a two-run single in a win over the Rockies on Saturday.
The dynamic rookie emptied the bases in the fifth inning with a single to right that rolled by Rockies right fielder Sean Bouchard, allowing Ty France, Cal Raleigh and Mitch Garver to cross the plate. Clase, who has elite speed, tried to follow his teammates' lead, but he was thrown out on his headfirst slide at home. Nevertheless, it was another productive night with the bat for Clase, who's now reached safely in all four of his big-league games and knocked in at least one run in three of them.

Mariners' Jonatan Clase: Timely two-bagger Tuesday
Clase went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.
Clase, who was just called up from Triple-A Tacoma on Monday, opened the scoring on the night with a timely double in the fourth inning that plated Mitch Garver. It was the rookie's second hit and RBI in as many big-league games, as he'd also knocked in a run via a single in his debut Monday. Clase has drawn starts in left field in his first two games, and he's expected to continue in a near-everyday role while Dominic Canzone (shoulder) is on the injured list.

Clase went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run in a win over the Reds on Wednesday.
The rookie continued to provide a much-needed spark to the underachieving Mariners offense in his third major-league start. Clase helped manufacture Seattle's fourth run of the game with the help of trademark speed he so often flashed during his minor-league career, drawing a seventh-inning walk, swiping second and then coming around to score on a Mitch Haniger single. Clase's strong early returns should further ensure he'll remain in a near everyday role while Dominic Canzone (shoulder) is on the shelf.

Mariners' Jonatan Clase: Will receive regular playing time
Clase will start in left field and bat eighth in Monday's game versus the Reds.
Clase will make his MLB debut after he was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma earlier Monday after outfielder Dominic Canzone (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. According to Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM, Mariners manager Scott Servais said Monday that Clase will play while he's with the big club, so it sounds like he could see the lion's share of starts in left field while Canzone is out. The 21-year-old has slashed .311/.396/.622 with two homers, three steals and a 12:7 K:BB with Tacoma this season and is worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues.

Clase was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma by the Mariners on Monday, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.
Clase has hit .311/.396/.622 with two homers, three steals and a 12:7 K:BB over his first 12 games at Tacoma this season. The 21-year-old has experience at all three outfield spots and could see some corner outfield reps while Dominic Canzone (shoulder) is on the shelf. Clase will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.

Clase is expected to be called up from Triple-A Tacoma if Dominic Canzone is placed on the injured list due to the left AC joint sprain he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Cubs, MLB.com reports.
Clase has opened the minor-league season swinging a blistering bat -- he's compiled a .308/.404/.641 slash line with seven extra-base hits (three doubles, two triples, two home runs), 11 RBI, two stolen bases and eight runs across 47 plate appearances over 11 games. The speedy 21-year-old already has 55- and 61-steal tallies in two separate minor-league campaigns, and he's played both left field and center field for Tacoma thus far this season.

Clase was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Clase enjoyed success while with the big-league club this spring, batting .321 (9-for-28) with two RBI and three stolen bases in 15 games. The 21-year-old continues to progress quickly through Seattle's farm system, as he'll get his first taste of Triple-A after slashing .220/.329/.387 with 12 homers, 50 RBI, 61 stolen bases and 77 runs scored through 108 appearances a season ago at Double-A Arkansas.

Mariners' Jonatan Clase: Blistering spring at plate
Clase is hitting .400 (8-for-20) with two doubles, two RBI, three stolen bases and six runs across 10 Cactus League games.
The 21-year-old's proficiency against big-league arms has been encouraging, even as he's likely to start off the season at Double-A Arkansas following an uneven performance at the plate there over 108 games last season. Clase's speed and stolen-base production have been off the charts throughout his three-year minor-league career -- he's swiped 149 bases (174 attempts) across 250 games. Clase could certainly make it up to Triple-A Tacoma before the end of the 2024 season by displaying more consistent contact at the Double-A level, and he's undeniably making a strong impression ahead of what could be a 2025 big-league debut.

Clase has a .222/.337/.429 slash line with nine home runs, 30 steals and a 30.5 percent strikeout rate in 53 games for Double-A Arkansas.
The switch-hitting center fielder capitalized on the hitter-friendly park at High-A Everett and a fortunate .423 BABIP to slash .333/.453/.701 in 21 games for the AquaSox, but this run at Double-A is a more telling sample for the 21-year-old. His elite speed will keep him on the dynasty radar even when he is struggling at the dish, and Clase's patience and power at the plate takes some pressure off his hit tool.

Clase is hitting .217 with one home run, 10 steals and a 31.5 percent strikeout rate in 12 games since getting promoted to Double-A Arkansas.
The speedy outfielder, who turns 21 next week, put up a .333/.453/.701 slash line while playing half his games in the hitter friendly park at High-A Everett before earning the promotion. Clase is already on the 40-man roster and should remain at Double-A for the rest of the season.

However, he is just 20 years old and has not played above Single-A, so there is a lot of development remaining.
