Royals' Gavin Cross: Lands on injured list
Cross (illness) was placed on Double-A Northwest Arkansas' 7-day injured list Tuesday, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
Cross has been feeling unwell the last few days and the team is being cautious by giving him some extra down time. He went 0-for-5 with a walk in his first two games with Northwest Arkansas before he exited the lineup, but it's not expected to be a long absence.
