Abrams went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's loss to the Dodgers.
The 23-year-old shortstop saw a nine-game hitting streak end on Wednesday, but he wasted no time getting going again. Over his last 14 contests since returning from a minor finger injury, Abrams is slashing .293/.349/.638 with four of his six homers and two of his five steals on the season.

Abrams went 1-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Astros.
The shortstop extended his hitting streak to eight games with the performance, but the steal was his first since March 30, snapping a 16-game drought on the basepaths. Abrams has hardly been a disappointment so far in 2024, slashing .297/.358/.676 with six homers, four steals, 12 RBI and 15 runs in 18 contests, but after he pilfered 47 bags last year in his first full big-league season, fantasy GMs who invested in him are likely expecting the 23-year-old to be a bit busier as a baserunner.

Nationals' CJ Abrams: Goes yard again Saturday
Abrams went 2-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Astros.
The shortstop led off the bottom of the first inning by launching Ronel Blanco's first pitch of the afternoon over the fence in right field. Abrams is up to six homers on the season, including three in the last five contests, and Saturday's performance extended his hitting streak to seven games -- a stretch in which he's batting .345 (10-for-29) with a stunning .931 SLG, as nine of the hits (four doubles, two triples, three home runs) have gone for extra bases.

Nationals' CJ Abrams: Smacks fifth homer
Abrams went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Dodgers.
He drove the second big-league pitch of Landon Knack's career over the fence in right-center field, giving the Nats all the offense they would need as Jake Irvin and the bullpen combined for a shutout. Abrams launched a career-high 18 homers in 2023 but is well ahead of that pace to begin this season, slashing .295/.358/.656 with five home runs, three steals, 10 runs and 11 RBI in 15 games.

Abrams went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional run and a double in Monday's 6-4 victory against the Dodgers.
Abrams led off the game with a double, reached third base on a groundout and scored on a Tyler Glasnow wild pitch. He added a solo homer off Tyler Glasnow in the third inning to round out a productive night. Abrams has gone 5-for-13 over his past three games, with all five of his hits during that span going for extra bases. On the season, he has an impressive 1.004 OPS with four homers, three doubles, two triples, 10 RBI, nine runs and three stolen bases over 60 plate appearances.

Abrams tagged starter Kyle Harrison for the two-run shot in the third inning, marking the shortstop's third long ball of the 2024 season. While it's still early, Abrams has seen a massive power spike in his third MLB season, with his ISO jumping up from .167 in 2023 to .344 through eight games.
