Volpe went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Mariners.
Volpe notched his first extra-base hit since May 21 after taking Logan Gilbert deep to left center in the third to put the Yankees up 6-0. The 22-year-old has not had a multi-hit game since May 14 and has now dipped below The Mendoza Line with a .198/.277/.365 slash line to go with eight homers, 24 RBI, 23 runs, 13 steals and a 21:67 BB:K over 220 plate appearances.

Volpe went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 8-7 loss against the Rays.
Volpe cut the Yankees' deficit to one with his two-run shot off Trevor Kelly in the eighth inning. The rookie shortstop has gone 5-for-11 with two home runs and two stolen bases in his last three games. While Volpe has been inconsistent with the bat to start the campaign, he's certainly shown the potential for multi-category fantasy production. He's now slashing .218/.303/.388 with six homers, 17 RBI and 13 stolen bases through his first 147 plate appearances.

Yankees' Anthony Volpe: Collects two more steals
Volpe went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and a run in Saturday's 9-8 victory versus the Rays.
Volpe struck out three times in the contest, but he also displayed his most dynamic asset in the sixth. The rookie led off that frame with a bunt single, then proceeded to swipe both second and third base before coming home on a wild pitch. Volpe has gone a perfect 13-for-13 on theft attempts this season, and he ranks fifth overall in the league in that category. Strikeouts are a problem -- he has posted a 28.6 percent strikeout rate -- but Volpe has played well enough to maintain his role as New York's everyday shortstop.

The rookie shortstop socked a solo shot off Josh Fleming in the fifth inning before adding an RBI single in the seventh. Volpe extended the Yankees' lead to 11-2 with his first career grand slam, a 419-foot shot off Rico Garcia in the fifth inning. It was Volpe's fourth home run of the season. The 22-year-old shortstop had been slumping coming into Wednesday's contest, going 3-for-27 in his last six contests.
