In early February, Johnson landed on the long-term injury list due to a knee issue but he returned in early March. The exact nature of the injury that will end his season hasn't been disclosed, but it's possible the same knee is causing him additional problems.

Johnson hadn't appeared in a game since Jan. 22, likely due to the left knee issue that is now causing him to go on the long-term list.
