Pointer signed a two-year contract Sunday with Hapoel Eilat B.C. of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, Sportando reports.
Pointer's rights still belong to the Cavaliers, who drafted him 53rd overall in 2015, but it doesn't appear the organization views him as NBA ready just yet.
