  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Scores 14 in win

Niang chipped in 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 19 minutes during Wednesday's 116-108 victory over the Mavericks. Niang was held below 10 points in his last three appearances, but he posted his highest scoring total since March 4 during Wednesday's victory. He's made 15 appearances this month and has averaged 7.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per game.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Drops two triples in loss

Niang contributed eight points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt) and four rebounds over 23 minutes during Monday's 116-111 loss to the Nuggets. Niang, along with a host of his teammates, saw additional run in the loss. The 76ers were done and dusted by the fourth quarter, affording the fringe players to close the game. Niang is a player who can get hot from the perimeter, but when the team is healthy, his role is typically under 20 minutes per night, nowhere near enough to produce 12-team value.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Adds 12 bench points

Niang finished with 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal in 23 minutes during Friday's 120-119 victory over the Trail Blazers. Niang continues to do damage from beyond the arc, where he scored all 12 of his points Friday night. He's now 12-for-20 from deep over his last four contests, averaging 10.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists. While he's been hot of late, the Iowa State product has put up double figures in only two of his last 11 appearances and doesn't typically add much value in other categories.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Tallies two points vs. Cleveland

Niang racked up two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 13 minutes during Wednesday's 118-112 win over the Cavaliers. Niang had scored at least five points in his last four appearances, but he had limited looks from the floor Wednesday and was unable to impact the scoreboard much. Over eight appearances in February, he's averaged 6.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 19.9 minutes per game.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Drains four threes in win

Niang recorded 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt) and one rebound over 19 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 126-119 victory over the Nuggets. The veteran forward continues to provide the Sixers with a long-distance threat on the second unit, although he doesn't offer much else from a fantasy perspective. Niang has drained multiple three-pointers in 10 of 13 games in January while shooting 48.4 percent (32-for-66) on his attempts, but on the month, he's averaging just 9.2 points, 2.7 boards and 1.2 assists a game.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Pitches in with Embiid out

Niang finished with 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes during Saturday's 129-127 victory over the Kings. While Montrezl Harrell drew the start for Joel Embiid (foot), Niang emerged as the next man up, a role that fell to Paul Reed in previous seasons. Niang's contribution has been most noticeable in lop-sided outcomes by the Sixers, but he holds decent fantasy value when Embiid is out. The 29-year-old has posted double-digit scoring outcomes in 19 of 44 games as a backup.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Available Saturday

Niang (illness) will play in Saturday's game against Utah, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Niang was tabbed as questionable for the contest after missing shootaround but will suit up and take the floor Saturday. With Tobias Harris (knee) absent, he could be in line for extra minutes.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Questionable against Utah

Niang missed shootaround ahead of Saturday's game versus the Jazz and is considered questionable due to a non-COVID illness, Rich Hofmann of The Athletic reports. Niang's absence from shootaround is a bad sign for his status Saturday. If he is unable to suit up, his next chance to play is Sunday's matchup with the Lakers.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Lands five triples in win

Niang supplied 15 points (5-9 FG, 5-9 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 27 minutes during Monday's 120-111 win over New Orleans. Niang dropped a team-high five triples in the win, the most he has hit in a single game since mid-December. With the team now relatively healthy, Niang's playing time is likely to be sporadic, at best. His on-court value is completely reliant on his ability to hit the long ball, something that has been a bit hit or miss thus far.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Leader from deep off bench

Niang amassed 11 points (3-12 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 113-93 win over the Pistons. Niang led the 76ers from three while leading the second unit in scoring, posting his third double-digit scoring total in the last four contests. Niang has reached double figures in scoring on 12 occasions this year.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Plays 13 minutes in return

Niang contributed three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 13 minutes during Sunday's 131-113 victory over the Hornets. Niang returned to action Sunday after missing two games with a foot injury. He didn't factor much into the game as he took just two shot attempts. In the nine games before the injury, he averaged 11.7 points and made 41.1 percent of his three-point tries. He's likely to return to his reserve role and play around 20 minutes a night moving forward.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Will suit up Sunday

Niang (foot) confirmed that he'll play Sunday against the Hornets, Austin Krell of USA Today reports. After missing the past two games with a sore foot, Niang was upgraded to probable for Sunday's contest and relayed that he checked out fine coming out of the 76ers' morning shootaround. Given the brevity of his absence, Niang shouldn't face any major restrictions in his return. Over his first 23 appearances of the season, Niang is averaging 9.7 points, 2.3 three-pointers, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19.7 minutes while converting at a 43.1 percent rate from downtown.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Probable Sunday

Niang (foot) is probable for Sunday's game against the Hornets. Niang has missed the past two games with right foot soreness but is expected to return. Danuel House (foot) is also questionable, so fewer minutes may be in store for P.J. Tucker, Matisse Thybulle and Furkan Korkmaz.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Won't play Friday

Niang (foot) is out for Friday's matchup with the Lakers. Niang will miss his second straight game Friday after also missing Thursday's practice due to right foot soreness. The 29-year-old forward's next chance to play is Sunday's game against Charlotte.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Absent from practice

Niang (foot) didn't practice Thursday, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Niang was held out of Monday's game against the Rockets due to right foot soreness, and it's discouraging that he was unable to practice Thursday. His status for Friday's game against the Lakers hasn't yet been revealed.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Out Monday

Niang (foot) won't play Monday at Houston, Kyle Neubeck of PhillyVoice.com reports. Niang emerged from Friday's loss to Memphis with a sore right foot that will sideline him for at least one contest. The return of James Harden (foot) should absorb some of Niang's minutes, while Furkan Korkmaz, Danuel House and Matisse Thybulle are also candidates to see a slight bump in playing time.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Questionable Monday

Niang is questionable for Monday's game against Houston due to right foot soreness. Niang has been held to single-digit scoring totals in each of the last four matchups, and he averaged 7.5 points in 19.5 minutes per game. If he's unable to suit up Monday, Danuel House and Paul Reed would likely see increased playing time.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Does damage from deep

Niang finished with 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and one block over 18 minutes during Tuesday's 115-106 win over the Nets. Niang made his presence felt from beyond the arc, and he also put together his best showing on the glass since Oct. 28 against Toronto. He'd enjoyed 30 and 32 minutes in his last two contests heading into Tuesday's matchup, but he saw his playing time drop to 18 minutes against Brooklyn with Paul Reed becoming more involved in the rotation.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Scores 15 points in loss

Niang finished with 15 points (5-12 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 112-109 loss to the Timberwolves. All of Niang's 15 points on the night came in the second and third quarters on a combined 5-of-9 shooting from the field, including 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. He played 32 minutes off the bench -- his highest minutes total of the season -- and reached the 15-point mark for the second straight game. Niang doesn't contribute a whole lot elsewhere, however, as he has just five assists and eight rebounds over his last five games combined.

  • 76ers' Georges Niang: Excellent performance off bench

Niang recorded 21 points (7-11 FG, 7-10 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and two steals over 27 minutes during Monday's 100-88 win over the Suns. Niang is making the most of the minutes uptick he's experienced in the last few games, as he's topped the 15-minute plateau in four of his last five appearances and has recorded four double-digit scoring games in that span. He's worth a flyer in some deep formats, but overall, he's not worthy of a waiver claim unless he can sustain this production on a consistent basis. During that five-game stretch, he's averaging 13.4 points while shooting 52.2 percent from the field and 55.9 percent from three-point range.
