Bullock played a game-high 46 minutes in Wednesday's 137-128 overtime win over San Antonio, finishing with 20 points (6-11 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and two steals. With Kyrie Irving (foot), Luka Doncic (thigh) and Tim Hardaway (calf) all sitting out and with the game extending to a fifth period, Bullock was able to take advantage of the elevated playing time to produce one of his better lines of the season. The 13 rebounds surpassed his previous best by four, and he was four points shy of matching the season-best total he generated Jan. 14 in Portland. Even while Irving and Doncic sat out both of Dallas' prior two contests, Bullock averaged just 6.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 three-pointers and 1.0 assists in 32.5 minutes between those games, so Bullock won't make for the most trustworthy streaming option even if the Mavericks' two stars miss additional time beyond Wednesday.... Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Good to go
Bullock (quad) is good to go Saturday against the Grizzlies and will be part of the starting lineup. The veteran sharpshooter will be returning from a one-game absence. The Mavericks are missing both Kyrie Irving (foot) and Luka Doncic (thigh), so Bullock could have some more shots coming his way.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Receives probable tag
Bullock is probable for Saturday's game versus the Grizzlies due to a right quad contusion. Bullock is now deemed probable Saturday after coach Jason Kidd said he was good to go. If he is upgraded to available as expected, Bullock will likely return to the starting lineup.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Cleared for Saturday
Head coach Jason Kidd said Friday that Bullock (quadriceps) is good to go for Saturday's matchup against the Grizzlies, Callie Caplan of The Dallas Morning News reports. Bullock left Tuesday's contest against Utah with a right quad contusion and didn't play in the second half of Dallas' back-to-back set Wednesday. However, it appears his absence was merely precautionary, and he'll return to action Saturday. Before his injury, he started 10 of his previous 11 appearances and averaged 10.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 35.3 minutes during that stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Out Wednesday
Bullock (quadriceps) won't play Wednesday against the Pelicans, Grant Afseth of SI.com reports. With Bullock watching from the sideline Wednesday, Tim Hardaway could make his way back into the first unit, and Dallas may have more minutes available for Justin Holiday, Josh Green and Davis Bertans. Bullock's next chance to play will come Saturday against the Grizzlies.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Unlikely to play Wednesday
Bullock (quadriceps) is doubtful for Wednesday's game in New Orleans. Bullock suffered a right quad contusion during Tuesday's win over Utah and will likely be sidelined for at least one additional contest. Maxi Kleber (rest) has already been ruled out for the second half of Dallas' back-to-back set, so Christian Wood, Justin Holiday, Markieff Morris and Davis Bertans are all candidates for increased roles versus the Pelicans.... Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Will not return
Bullock will not return Tuesday against the Jazz due to a right quad contusion. Bullock played only eight minutes prior to the injury, finishing with two rebounds and one assist. The Mavericks play again Wednesday versus the Pelicans, so they may need to rely on Justin Holiday if Bullock doesn't get the green light to play in the second half of Dallas' back-to-back set.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Questionable to return Tuesday
Bullock is questionable to return to Tuesday's game versus the Jazz due to a right quad contusion, Callie Caplan of The Dallas Morning News reports. Bullock recorded two rebounds and one assist in eight minutes before exiting Tuesday's game. Maxi Kleber, Davis Bertans and Markieff Morris are candidates to receive extended minutes if Bullock is unable to return.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Sinks four triples in win
Bullock registered 12 points (4-6 FG, 4-6 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes during Thursday's 142-116 victory over the Spurs. Bullock started a third straight game and has now started six times over Dallas' past seven contests. During that stretch, he's averaged 10.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 35.1 minutes while shooting 43.8 percent from deep. He was one of eight Mavericks to score in double figures Thursday, as Dallas dismantled the Spurs en route to a blowout victory, but his peripheral production was lacking. Regardless, Bullock is firmly planted in the rotation and should continue to see around 30-plus minutes a night, making him a player to watch during the stretch run.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Available Wednesday
Bullock (illness) will be available to play Wednesday against the Nuggets. Bullock might see some extra shots falling his way on Wednesday evening with Kyrie Irving (back) unavailable, although Bullock won't offer much more than some points and triples. He's just a low-end streamer in deep leagues.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Upgraded to probable
Bullock (illness) has been upgraded from questionable to probable for Wednesday's matchup against the Nuggets, Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News reports. The upgrade came just after Dallas' morning shootaround, so it appears the sharpshooter participated and should be good to go for the real thing Wednesday night. Bullock has started four of the Mavericks' past five games, posting 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 38.0 minutes during that stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Questionable against Denver
Bullock (illness) is questionable for Wednesday against Denver. Christian Wood is also questionable with an illness, and Tim Hardaway Jr. is questionable due to a hamsting injury. Bullock has been playing a ton of minutes lately, so if he's forced to the sidelines, we may see Jaden Hardy get an extended look in the rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Gets chance with first unit
Bullock is starting Monday's game against Minnesota. Bullock will get another chance to start with Tim Hardaway (hamstring) set to sit out of Monday's clash. Bullock has fared well in three starts this month, averaging 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.0 steals across 37.3 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Moves back to bench
Bullock is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Kings. Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News reports. Bullock started each of Dallas' previous three games, but he heads back to the bench Saturday with the return of Luka Doncic (heel). Bullock is averaging 6.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game when coming off the bench this season (22 games).... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Stuffs stat sheet against LAC
Bullock chipped in 18 points (6-13 FG, 6-12 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists and two steals across 41 minutes during Wednesday's 110-104 victory over the Clippers. Bullock started for the second game in a row and delivered another stat-filling performance, as he contributed on both ends of the court while scoring in double digits. That said, he's averaging just 6.9 points and 3.6 rebounds as a starter this season, and it's unclear whether he'll remain in that role on a permanent basis. For now, though, he's likely to start Friday at Sacramento, though the availability of Luka Doncic (heel) will also play a major role in Bullock's starting chances going forward.... See More ... Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Makes most of Monday's start
Bullock posted 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt), four steals, three assists, two rebounds and one block across 34 minutes during Monday's 124-111 victory over Utah. Bullock has consistently logged 30-plus minutes of late but took advantage of his move into the starting lineup Monday, tallying double-digit points for the first time in February while setting a new season high in steals. The 11 field-goal attempts also tied a season high, but expect Bullock's usage to dip in the coming games, with the impending debut of Kyrie Irving on Wednesday and with Luka Doncic (heel) potentially returning as soon as this weekend in Sacramento.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Starting Monday
Bullock will start Monday against the Jazz, Mavericks radio play-by-play broadcaster Chuck Cooperstein reports. With Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith now in Brooklyn, and both Kyrie Irving (trade) and Luka Doncic (heel) unavailable for Monday's game, the Mavs will roll out a new starting lineup featuring Bullock, McKinley Wright, Tim Hardaway Jr., Josh Green and Dwight Powell. Bullock could be someone to consider as a desperation streamer for some triples, but his upside is limited, and a guy like Jaden Hardy would be a more exciting dice roll.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Shoots well in losing effort
Bullock produced 19 points (7-10 FG, 5-8 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes during Saturday's 108-100 loss to the Jazz. Bullock was highly efficient on offense Saturday, hitting four of five shot attempts for 11 points in the first half. The small forward chipped in another eight points on 3-of-5 shooting over the final two quarters to finish with 19 on the night, marking his second-highest point total of the season. Bullock went 5-of-8 from three in the contest, his third time this month with at least five triples, and has now grabbed five rebounds in back-to-back games.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Donut special in Sunday's loss
Bullock ended Sunday's 112-98 loss to the Clippers with zero points (0-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 32 minutes. Bullock missed all four of his shots in the loss, turning in a zero in the scoring column. Despite a small resurgence with double-digit points over the prior four games, Bullock remains well and truly off the fantasy radar. At best, he can be used for streaming purposes, although as we saw here, even that can be wishful thinking.... See More ... See Less -
Mavericks' Reggie Bullock: Provides spark off bench
Bullock finished with 15 points (5-7 FG, 5-6 3Pt), three rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block across 28 minutes in Friday's 115-90 win over the Heat. With Dorian Finney-Smith reclaiming his spot on the top unit in the past two games following his return from an injury, Bullock has transitioned back into a bench role. The move to the second unit hasn't hindered Bullock thus far, as the veteran wing has combined for nine three-pointers and three steals during that stretch while shooting a magnificent 66.7 percent from the field. Bullock's scoring output will take a hit once his shooting percentage starts veering closer to his 42.4 percent career rate, but he should still at least represent an appealing streaming option for triples and steals on lower-volume game days if he continues to receive 20-plus minutes while coming off the bench....
