Sabonis finished with 16 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-6 FT), 13 rebounds, 12 assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 132-109 loss to the Celtics. Sabonis posted his fifth triple-double over his past nine appearances, but it wasn't enough as Boston blew out the Kings. Since the All-Star break, the lefty big man has averaged 19.9 points, 13.3 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.5 steals-plus-blocks with 60/36/75 shooting splits, boosting his fantasy value substantially.... Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Struggles with shot Monday
Sabonis amassed 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Monday's 128-120 loss to Utah. Sabonis struggled from the field and needed 11 shots to score 11 points, his lowest-scoring mark since Jan. 25, but his contributions in other categories salvaged his fantasy line. The star forward ended just one assist away from recording what would've been his fifth triple-double of the month, and he has posted at least a double-double in all but one of his March appearances. He's averaging 20.9 points, 13.2 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game in that span.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Comes close to triple-double
Sabonis ended Saturday's 132-118 win over the Wizards with 30 points (10-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 10-12 FT), nine rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal over 33 minutes. Sabonis entered this game having notched four triple-doubles over his last six appearances, and he ended just one rebound away from recording that feat again. One of the most productive big men in the league, Sabonis is averaging 22.0 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game across nine March appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Dominates with 20-20 performance
Sabonis ended with 24 points (8-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 21 rebounds, five assists and four blocks in 39 minutes during Thursday's 101-96 victory over the Nets. Sabonis led all players in Thursday's game in rebounds while leading the team in points, rebounds and blocks en route to a 20-20 outing in a winning effort. Sabonis has surpassed the 20-rebound mark three times this season, tallying at least 20 points and 20 boards in two contests.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Back-to-back triple-doubles
Sabonis ended Wednesday's 117-114 win over the Bulls with 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 FT), 17 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal over 40 minutes. Sabonis has recorded a triple-double in back-to-back games and in four of his last five appearances. During that stretch, he's averaging 19.4 points, 13.2 rebounds, 10.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks in 37.0 minutes while shooting 54.9 percent from the field.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Nabs third triple-double in four games
Sabonis finished Monday's 133-124 loss to the Bucks with 23 points (11-23 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 17 rebounds and 15 assists across 39 minutes. The triple-double was Sabonis' third in the past four games, and he became the first player in Kings franchise history to reach 20 points, 15 assists and 15 rebounds in a single contest since Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson achieved the feat in January 1965. As usual, Sabonis didn't supplement his production in three main fantasy categories with any defensive statistics, but he at least avoided hurting managers from the free-throw line, where he can often be a below-average performer on heavy volume.... Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Notches another triple-double
Sabonis finished with 24 points (9-15 FG, 6-8 FT), 13 rebounds, 10 assists and one block in 37 minutes during Thursday's 122-117 victory over the Knicks. Sabonis continued his standout campaign Thursday, leading Sacramento in points, rebounds and assists in the tough victory. The big man finished with his ninth triple-double of the season, third-most in the league. Sabonis is averaging 22.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 0.8 blocks through his first four games in March.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Cruises to eighth triple-double
Sabonis supplied 19 points (8-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Monday's 123-108 victory over the Pelicans. Sabonis committed five fouls and turned the ball over six times, but he was instrumental in helping Sacramento pull out the win despite the absence of De'Aaron Fox (hamstring). The big man was the only Kings player to finish with double-digit rebounds and assists, and he added 19 points to finish with his eighth triple-double of the campaign. Sabonis has at least double-doubled in 10 straight contests and is averaging 20.4 points, 13.0 boards and 7.0 assists over that span.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Extends double-double streak
Sabonis finished Saturday's 138-134 loss to Minnesota with 24 points (10-18 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 14 rebounds and five assists in 33 minutes. Sabonis has now recorded nine consecutive double-doubles and shows no sign of stopping. Although turnovers have been a recent problem for the big man, his efficiency as a rebounder and an increased shot volume make him one of the most prolific centers in the league. Sabonis' only glaring deficiency has been his shot-blocking ability. The big man has struggled in the category for most of his career, and he's only averaging 0.5 blocks per game this season.... Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Sniffs triple-double in win
Sabonis accumulated 23 points (10-13 FG, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal in 35 minutes during Friday's 128-127 victory over the Clippers. Sabonis was extremely efficient from the field and was active at the other end, posting a double-double for the eighth game in a row while ending just three assists away from recording a triple-double. De'Aaron Fox has been outstanding in recent weeks, but Sabonis still plays a significant role on offense for the Kings. He's averaging 20.0 points, 12.1 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game over his last 10 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Sixth straight double-double in win
Sabonis notched 14 points (6-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 15 rebounds and eight assists over 36 minutes during Sunday's 124-115 victory over the Thunder. Sabonis didn't take a ton of shots Sunday night, but he still involved himself enough in the offense, coming up only two assists shy of another triple-double. Scoring consistency can sometimes be a bit of a concern with the star big man, but he produces well in many other categories to make up for it. In 58 games this season, he's averaging 18.7 points, 12.4 boards and 6.9 assists.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Triple-doubles in win
Sabonis logged 18 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 18 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals over 32 minutes during Thursday's 133-116 victory over the Trail Blazers. This was Sabonis' seventh triple-double of the season, moving him ahead of Chris Webber for the Sacramento-era record. Sabonis has been a top-20 player in 9-category leagues over the past eight games and will get a matchup against the Clippers, who will be without Ivica Zubac (calf), on Friday.... See More ... Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Perfect from charity stripe in loss
Sabonis supplied 24 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 10-10 FT), 15 rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 38 minutes in Tuesday's 120-109 loss to the Suns. For the third game in a row, Sabonis hit more than half of his field-goal attempts and came through with a double-double, but the perfect showing from the free-throw line on heavy volume might be the biggest takeaway from his stat line. Sabonis' season-long rate from the charity stripe is now up to a career-best 76.4 percent, and he's been especially dialed in since the start of February. Over eight contests this month, Sabonis is converting at an 86.8 percent clip from the line on 4.8 attempts per game.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Goes 10-of-12, grabs 14 boards
Sabonis posted 22 points (10-12 FG, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 41 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 133-128 overtime victory over Dallas. Sabonis got off to a great start offensively with 10 first-half points on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor, but he was surprisingly quiet on the glass with just three rebounds entering the break. That changed in the second half, as the All-Star big man grabbed 11 boards to finish with a game-high rebounding total. Sabonis also achieved his points in highly efficient fashion, with his 83.3 percent mark from the field marking his best shooting performance since Dec. 30.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Available to play Saturday
Sabonis (thigh) will be available for Saturday's game against the Mavericks, Deuce Mason of NBC Sports California reports. Sabonis was expected to be a game-time call close to the 10 p.m. ET tip, and in the end, he'll suit up and should handle a regular workload Saturday. The lefty big man is averaging 18.1 points and 10.6 rebounds per game over his last 10 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Tabbed questionable
Sabonis is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Mavericks due to a right thigh contusion, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Sabonis popped up on the injury report Saturday after sustaining a bruised right thigh while playing 37 minutes Friday. If he is unable to play, Chimezie Metu, Richaun Holmes and Trey Lyles could all see increased minutes. Fantasy managers should monitor Sabonis' status ahead of the 10:00 p.m. EST tipoff.... Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Enjoys complete performance
Sabonis racked up 18 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 11 rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 37 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 122-114 loss to the Mavericks. Sabonis make an impact across the board and was three assists away from securing a triple-double. He was able to post a double-digit rebounding night after being held to seven and nine boards over his previous two contests, and he also notched a steal for his third straight matchup. Sabonis is averaging 19.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.3 steals through six games in February.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Goes for 22 points in win
Sabonis amassed 22 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 130-128 win over Houston. Sabonis appeared to be well on his way to another double-double, scoring 11 first-half points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field to go along with six boards and four assists. The power forward remained efficient on the offensive end after the break, adding another 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting. However, he collected just three more rebounds over the final two quarters to finish with nine on the night, which still led the team. Sabonis has now failed to grab double-digit rebounds in back-to-back contests after previously doing so in five straight, though he's averaged 7.5 assists over that brief stretch.... See More ... Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Dishes out 10 assists in win
Sabonis finished with 17 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 assists, seven rebounds and two steals across 32 minutes in Monday's 140-120 win over the Rockets. Point guard De'Aaron Fox (personal) returned to the lineup following a two-game absence, but Sabonis still ended up finishing as the Kings' leading assist man on the night. The 10 dimes helped Sabonis extend his double-double streak to six games, after the previous five had been of the points and rebounds variety.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Leading rebounder in double-double
Sabonis ended Sunday's 136-104 loss to the Pelicans with 12 points (5-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes. Sabonis led all Kings players in rebounds and was one of six players in double figures in scoring en route to a double-double performance. Sabonis has secured a double-double in five straight games.... See More ... See Less
