  • Aric Holman: Scores 21 in season finale

Holman recorded 21 points (8-16 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five blocks, four rebounds, an assist and a steal across 27 minutes off the bench in Saturday's loss against the Legends. Holman was one of five Austin players that scored in double digits in this one, but not even his efforts off the bench were enough to carry the team to victory in the regular-season finale. Holman ends the season with averages of 11.6 points and 6.0 rebounds while dishing out 2.2 assists per tilt.

Holman recorded 14 points (4-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks across 21 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's loss against Agua Caliente. Holman might have come off the bench, but there's no question he delivered a strong stat line in this one. Considering Devontae Cacok is dealing with a heel injury, Holman could be in line to see more minutes when Austin takes on Sioux Falls on Thursday.

Holman had 18 points (7-16 FG, 4-10 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and a block across 30 minutes in Friday's win over the Stars. • Aric Holman: Drains three treys Friday

Holman scored 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt) while adding four rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block across 15 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over the Hustle. Holman saw limited minutes out there, but that didn't stop him from putting up a decent line despite attempting 11 field goals. The three treys tied a season-high mark for him, and while he's been a reliable scoring contributor for Austin this season, he seems to be trending in the wrong direction a bit. He hasn't scored more than 11 points in any of his last four appearances.

Holman posted 14 points (5-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, three blocks and an assist across 34 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss to the Vipers. Holman struggled from an efficiency perspective since he needed 15 shots just to score 14 points, but the entire Austin team struggled badly in what turned out to be a one-sided loss. Holman has left his mark on both ends of the court, though, averaging 14.0 points and 10.3 rebounds across three appearances so far.

  • Aric Holman: Efficient despite loss Friday

Holman finished with 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block across 33 minutes in Friday's loss to the Blue. Holman left his mark on both ends of the court and couldn't have asked for a better start to the season following his double-double. He's not going to deliver those numbers on a regular basis, but there's a chance he can become a steady contributor for Austin as the season progresses.

  • Aric Holman: Let go by San Antonio

The Spurs waived Holman on Monday, Jeff Garcia of Kens 5 San Antonio reports. Holman and Nate Renfro were the Spurs' first two cuts of training camp, with their dismissals coming as little surprise after both were signed to non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deals earlier in the offseason. Assuming Holman clears waivers, the 6-foot-10 center from Mississippi State will join the Spurs' G League affiliate in Austin to begin the 2021-22 campaign.
