  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Available to play Saturday

Hunter (ankle) is available Saturday against the Celtics. His status wasn't in any real doubt, as he was carrying a probable tag prior to this update. Hunter has been playing a ton of minutes lately, clearing 30 minutes in each of his last six games.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Iffy for Saturday

Hunter is questionable for Saturday's game against the Celtics with a sprained right ankle, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Hunter is at risk of missing his first game since Jan. 25 with a right ankle sprain after logging 35 or more minutes in two of his last three appearances. With Bogdan Bogdanovic (back) already ruled out, Saddiq Bey, AJ Griffin and Garrison Mathews could be thrust into more prominent roles if Hunter also sits.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Drops 18 points in win

Hunter had 18 points (7-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, one block and one steal in 35 minutes during Friday's 114-107 victory over the Wizards. Hunter had himself a nice game Friday, scoring an efficient 18 points to go with a pair of defensive stats. This is about all you can hope for when rostering Hunter, a player known for his lack of diversity when it comes to fantasy production. While he isn't out of place in a 12-team league, he should be viewed as more of a streaming option as opposed to a long-term asset.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Nice offensive performance in win

Hunter logged 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 32 minutes during Friday's 129-111 victory over the Trail Blazers. Hunter had a solid night scoring the ball, while adding little else. With so many mouths to feed on this Atlanta team, the fourth-year forward's scoring ceiling is always a bit limited, so usually, he needs to add more value in other categories to remain fantasy-relevant, and he hasn't been doing that as much this year. So, while he is averaging a career-high 15.6 points per game this season, he's also averaging a career low in steals (0.5), and he rarely adds much in blocks or assists.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Pops for 20 in loss

Hunter provided 20 points (9-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two blocks over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 122-101 loss to the Knicks. The fourth-year forward heads into the All-Star break on a bit of a heater, having scored at least 20 points in three straight games. Hunter remains a solid complementary presence in the Atlanta offense, and in the last 10 games he's averaging 16.2 points, 4.7 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.4 threes and 1.0 steals.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Available Wednesday

Hunter (ankle) is available for Wednesday's matchup against the Knicks. Hunter will power through right ankle soreness to appear in the Hawks' final game before the All-Star break. The forward has appeared in nine straight games, averaging 15.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.2 minutes.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Probable vs. Knicks

Hunter is probable for Wednesday's tilt against the Knicks due to right ankle soreness. Hunter is dealing with ankle pain following his 21-point, seven-rebound performance in Monday's win over the Hornets, but he doesn't appear to be at real risk of missing Wednesday's game. The forward has appeared in nine straight games, averaging 15.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.2 minutes.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Efficient from field Saturday

Hunter ended Saturday's 125-106 win over San Antonio with 24 points (8-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-9 FT), five rebounds, three steals and one assist across 33 minutes. Hunter has now reached the 20-point plateau three times in six appearances so far in February, and though he provided some solid supplementary production in the steals category Saturday, his contributions in the peripheral categories are often lean. The fourth-year forward may be finding his stride as a scorer, but Hunter along with Bogdan Bogdanovic could both be candidates to lose out on a handful of minutes if the Hawks' pending trade for Saddiq Bey is upheld.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Pours in 26 points

Hunter closed Friday's 115-108 win over the Jazz with 26 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 36 minutes. Hunter drilled 66.7 percent of his attempts from the field and finished second on the Hawks with 26 points. He also registered a steal for his fourth straight contest. Friday marked Hunter's best scoring performance through 43 appearances.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Not on injury report

Hunter (illness) is off the injury report for Saturday's matchup against the Clippers, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Hunter will return following a two-game absence, which should push Bogdan Bogdanovic back to the bench. In January, Hunter is averaging 18.0 points on 50/42/84 shooting, 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 34.5 minutes.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Out again

Hunter (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup against the Thunder, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Hunter will miss a second straight game due to an illness. His next chance to suit up will come Saturday against the Clippers. In his absence, Bogdan Bogdanovic figures to draw another start.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Questionable Wednesday

Hunter (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Hunter sat out Monday's loss to the Bulls, prompting Bogdan Bogdanovic to join the starters. Hunter doesn't provide many supplementary stats, but he's been a fairly reliable scorer. He's scored in double digits across the past 11 games, averaging 18.0 points on 50/42/84 shooting, 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists during that stretch.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Out vs. Chicago

Hunter has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bulls due to acute asthma symptoms, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. Hunter wasn't listed on the injury report leading up to tipoff, so this appears to be a last-minute flare-up for the Virginia product. AJ Griffin and Bogdan Bogdanovic are potential replacements for Hunter in the starting five.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Ties season high in scoring

Hunter finished with 25 points (10-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Saturday's 122-118 loss to the Hornets. Hunter matched his season high in scoring and continued his run of excellent shooting performances. Following a 4-for-14 showing from the floor in a Jan. 11 loss to the Bucks, Hunter has averaged 17.8 points on 54.2 percent shooting from the field, 92.9 percent shooting from the free-throw line and 48.5 percent shooting from the downtown. However, aside from the efficient scoring production, Hunter isn't providing much else in other areas, making him nothing but a low-end roster option in 12-team category leagues.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Efficient in victory

Hunter finished with 20 points (7-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Friday's 139-124 win over the Knicks. Hunter has scored in double digits in 10 straight games, averaging 17.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists on 48/42/83 shooting. He's mostly a source of points and threes for fantasy managers, but his secure role means he's worth rostering in many formats.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Drains six threes in win

Hunter finished Friday's 113-111 win over the Pacers with 25 points (8-16 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes. Hunter was efficient from the field and deadly from three-point range, as he made a season-high en route to tying his season-best scoring mark. The former Virginia standout has surpassed the 15-point mark in each of his six January outings and is settling in as another significant offensive contributor alongside Trae Young and Dejounte Murray. He's averaging 19.3 points per game in six January contests, nearly four points per game better than his season average.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Struggles from field in loss

Hunter logged 16 points (4-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), nine rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 114-105 loss to the Bucks. Hunter had a dreadful first half shooting the ball, going just 1-of-8 from the field with two points as the Hawks dug themselves in an early hole. He picked things up after the break with nine third-quarter points on 3-of-5 shooting to go along with four rebounds before knocking down five of six free-throws in the final period. The small forward finished second on the team in scoring with 16 points while also tying Onyeka Okongwu for the team lead in rebounds with nine. Hunter has now scored at least 15 points in five straight, though his 28.6 percent field-goal percentage Wednesday marked his second-worst shooting performance of the season.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Keeps production going in win

Hunter had 20 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Sunday's 112-108 victory over the Clippers. Hunter has swung back into fantasy relevancy with four strong games after his three-game absence. He's averaged 18.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists over the recent span. His four-game average of 36.5 minutes per game indicates that he will continue to be heavily involved in the offense.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Continues consistent scoring

Hunter accumulated 16 points (5-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT) and eight rebounds over 37 minutes during Friday's 130-114 loss to the Lakers. Hunter tied for second on the Hawks with 16 points in Friday's loss, finishing with double-digit scoring for the third straight game. The fourth-year forward has hit that mark 28 times in his 31 contests this season, helping him average a career-best 15.3 points per game. Hunter's other stats -- 4.3 boards, 1.2 assists, 1.5 triples and 0.5 steals per contest -- aren't massive, but he's shooting a steady 45.0 percent from the field an 80.7 percent from the charity stripe, giving him low-end value in standard 12-team fantasy leagues.

  • Hawks' De'Andre Hunter: Returns with 17 points

Hunter (ankle) closed Monday's 143-141 double-overtime loss to Golden State with 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals over 38 minutes. Hunter returned from a three-game absence due to an ankle injury and didn't appear limited, playing 38 minutes during the double-overtime loss. He had a solid offensive night and finished as one of six Hawks players in double figures, but his defensive prowess was on full display, notching multiple steals and blocks in the same game for the first time this season. Barring any residual effects from his heavy minutes Monday, Hunter should be in store for his typical workload against the Kings on Wednesday.
