Fultz chipped in 12 points (5-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 10 assists, three rebounds and one steal in 34 minutes during Sunday's 111-105 loss to the Lakers. Fultz's 10 assists matched his best total of the season. His ability to remain healthy has resulted in a career revival for the sixth-year pro, who has historically had trouble staying on the floor. Although Fultz's shot volume remains on the low side, he's played well enough to keep the starting job ahead of Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs (concussion) and is on pace to record the best statistical season of his career.... Magic's Markelle Fultz: Standout performance Saturday
Fultz recorded 28 points (10-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds, four assists, one block and four steals across 35 minutes during Saturday's 113-108 victory over the Clippers. Fultz scored a career-high 28 points in the win, continuing to shine for the Magic despite their recent record. He has been a top-75 player this season, but it has been his last month that has got people talking. During that span, he has been a third-round asset in standard nine-category formats, averaging 17.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.8 steals while shooting 53.8 percent from the field and 90.0 percent from the line. Projecting forward, barring any setbacks, he could very well be a top-60 target come draft season.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Comes close to triple-double
Fultz provided 25 points (11-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists and two steals across 34 minutes during Thursday's 116-113 loss to Phoenix. Fultz was excellent from the field but also posted strong peripheral stats, ending just one assist and three rebounds shy of a triple-double despite the losing effort. Fultz has been a bit inconsistent with his scoring figures, but he has surpassed the 20-point mark three times in eight March appearances. He's averaging 17.0 points, 6.3 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in that span.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Posts season-high 25 points
Fultz supplied 25 points (9-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds and six assists over 32 minutes during Thursday's 131-124 loss to the Jazz. Fultz was extremely efficient from the field and knocked down multiple triples for the first time since Jan. 21 en route to a season-high 25 points, marking his seventh game with at least 20. Across 46 appearances, the 2017 first-round pick is averaging 13.6 points, 5.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 29.6 minutes, which would all be career highs.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Solid game in loss
Fultz finished Sunday's 122-119 loss to the Trail Blazers with 15 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and four steals across 35 minutes. Fultz provided a solid fantasy line Sunday night, adding some nice steals and assists totals to his 15 points on 55.6 percent from the field. The 24-year-old continues to have what many consider to be his best season yet, averaging career highs in just about every category including points (13.3), assists (5.5), rebounds (4.1), steals (1.5), field-goal percentage (50.5) and even minutes (29.5).... Magic's Markelle Fultz: Scores 21 points in loss
Fultz notched 21 points (9-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds and five assists over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 139-117 loss to Milwaukee. Fultz got off to a great start with nine first-quarter points on 4-of-5 shooting and helped the Magic keep pace with the Bucks early on. He came out strong after the break as well, knocking down four of six shots in the third quarter for another 10 points to finish second on the team with 21 points on the night. The point guard added seven rebounds and has grabbed at least five boards in three straight games while dishing five or more assists in five of his last six.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Rounds out box score nicely
Fultz supplied 14 points (6-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals across 30 minutes in Monday's 101-93 win over the Pelicans. Though he averaged 17.0 points over the Magic's previous three contests, Fultz hadn't hit more than half of his field-goal attempts in any of those games, but he got back over the 50-percent mark Monday. Even though Orlando has been at full health in the backcourt for several weeks, head coach Jamahl Mosley has committed to Fultz as the team's clear top point guard over more recent first-round draft picks in Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs. Fultz finished February with at least 30 minutes played in all 11 of Orlando's games.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Game-high eight dimes in win
Fultz racked up 14 points (6-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals over 30 minutes during Thursday's 108-106 victory over Detroit. Fultz was unable to knock down any of his four shot attempts in the first half but helped make up for his lack of scoring with five assists. He turned things around in the second half, going 6-of-10 from the field for 14 points while dishing out another three dimes. The point guard finished with a game-high eight assists and tied for the team lead with two steals. Fultz is now averaging 16.2 points per game on 52.1 percent shooting from the field in February and is continuing to establish himself more on the offensive end.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Delivers balanced stat line
Fultz finished Tuesday's 123-113 loss to the Raptors with 19 points (7-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal in 36 minutes. Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Wendell Carter have typically been the only Magic players who have regularly approached or surpassed 30 minutes when healthy this season, but Fultz has joined them in head coach Jamahl Mosley's circle of trust of late. Fultz has now cleared 30 minutes in all but one of his last 13 appearances, and he's been more than deserving of the elevated opportunity. During that stretch of action, Fultz is averaging 14.0 points, 5.3 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.5 blocks while shooting 50 percent from the field and 88.2 percent from the free-throw line.... Magic's Markelle Fultz: Approaches triple-double in win
Fultz finished with 18 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists and one block in 35 minutes in Monday's 100-91 win over the Bulls. Fultz once again came up empty from long range and saw his streak of five games with at least one steal, but fantasy managers can easily overlook his shortcomings in both areas when he's putting up the kind of counting statistics he did Monday. Because he typically eschews three-point shots, Fultz has been a strong source of field-goal percentage relative to most guards, as he's now converting at a 50.3 rate on 10.6 attempts per game. The efficient scoring coupled with his usually strong production in the steals and assists column has easily made Fultz the top Magic point guard to roster in fantasy leagues, even though Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony both have more recent draft capital tied to them.... Magic's Markelle Fultz: Puts up 17 points in OT loss
Fultz registered 17 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 107-103 overtime loss to the Heat. Fultz had another decent performance and continues to show his value as one of Orlando's most consistent players on a game-to-game basis. The point guard is averaging 15.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game across six February appearances and has reached the 15-point mark in all but one of those contests.... Magic's Markelle Fultz: Leading scorer in loss
Fultz amassed a team-high 21 points (9-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT) to go with six assists, four rebounds and one steal in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 102-98 loss to the Knicks. It's his best scoring effort since he hit for 23 points against the Wizards on Jan. 21. Fultz has scored in double digits in five straight though, and the fact that he's been able to stay healthy this season may be resulting in some elusive consistency. Since the beginning of January, the 24-year-old guard is averaging 13.9 points, 5.7 assists, 3.3 boards and 1.4 steals a game while shooting a stunning 56.5 percent from the floor.... See More ... Magic's Markelle Fultz: Pops for 16 in win
Fultz ended Sunday's 119-113 victory over the Hornets with 16 points (8-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt), five assists, three steals and one rebound across 36 minutes. The 24-year-old rarely stands out in any one area, but his ability to contribute across the board and shoot efficiently from the field has made him a serviceable back-end roster piece in 12-team category leagues. Fultz hasn't made a three-pointer in the last eight games and appears to have put that part of his game on the back burner for the moment, going just 0-for-6 from beyond the arc. Despite the lack of outside shooting, he's averaged 12.4 points, 5.3 assists, 2.3 boards and 1.3 steals over that stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Scores 15 against Minnesota
Fultz accumulated 15 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 30 minutes during Friday's 127-120 win over the Timberwolves. Fultz was efficient from the field and also contributed enough in peripheral stats to deliver a solid overall performance. Fultz is averaging 13.4 points, 5.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game since the start of January. He is finally finding rhythm and consistency after the beginning of his career was decimated by injuries and shooting woes. Fultz has started all 32 of his appearances since making his season debut Nov. 30 and has finished in double figures in the scoring column in five of the last six games.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Leading scorer in loss
Fultz ended Wednesday's 105-94 loss to the 76ers with 18 points (7-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes. No Magic player scored more than Fultz's 18, as the team shot a woeful 37.9 percent from the field on the night and went 6-for-38 (15.8 percent) from three-point range. The two assists were his lowest total since Dec. 5, however, and Fultz continues to struggle with his consistency. Over his last 10 games, he's averaging 12.8 points, 5.7 assists, 2.9 boards and 1.0 steals.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Double-double in Monday's win
Fultz amassed 12 points (4-14 FG, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, 10 assists and four steals over 32 minutes during Monday's 119-109 victory over Philadelphia. It's the 24-year-old's first double-double of the season and only the eighth of his career, and it came against the team that selected him with the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. Fultz wraps up a solid January averaging 12.9 points, 6.2 assists, 3.4 boards and 1.4 steals over 14 games while shooting an impressive 53.6 percent from the floor.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Paces team in points, assists
Fultz totaled 23 points (8-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 138-118 loss to Washington. Fultz finished with team-high scoring and assist totals while providing some rare production from beyond the arc, as he connected on just a trio of three-pointers over his prior 13 contests combined. If there's a positive for Fultz typically eschewing the three-point shot, it's that he's usually able to achieve his scoring with increased efficiency relative to most point guards around the league. Fultz is shooting 59.1 percent from the field through nine appearances in January.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Off injury report
Fultz (illness) is not listed on the injury report for Friday's game against the Pelicans. Despite not being able to practice Thursday and initially being labeled a game-time call for Friday, Fultz is expected to be fine for the matchup. This month, the point guard is averaging 14.1 points, 6.3 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 29.7 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Dealing with illness
Fultz is considered a game-time decision for Friday's tilt against the Pelicans due to a non-COVID illness, Dan Savage of the Magic's official site reports. Fultz could not practice Thursday due to his illness, and it's unclear whether he'll be available for Friday's matchup either. He hasn't missed any time since late November, but Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony will likely see increased playing time if Fultz is forced to sit out.... See More ... See Less -
Magic's Markelle Fultz: Continues hot shooting in loss
Fultz chipped in 20 points (8-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and two steals over 27 minutes during Sunday's 119-116 loss to the Nuggets. Fultz had a great night shooting the ball, going 4-of-5 from the field in each half to finish second on the team in scoring. His well-rounded stat line made for arguably his best overall fantasy performance of the season with the exception of his game-high five turnovers. The point guard is now shooting 62 percent from the field in January and has recorded at least six assists in five of his last six contests.... See More ... See Less

J. Michael@ThisIsJMichael3D agoGuards who can post up and hit mid-range pull up are so valuable. Come playoff time, that's asset grows in value when you need a bucket. Fultz is so damn good at it. He punished Wizards down the stretch w/mid-post isos. Empty the side. Dare 'em to double or live with the 1 v 1🤷🏾♂️
