Porter (heel) is probable for Sunday's game versus the Warriors. Porter is expected to suit up Sunday after missing the previous game with a left heel injury. He will likely replace Bruce Brown in the starting lineup against Golden State.... See More ... See Less

Nuggets' Michael Porter: Ruled out Friday
Porter (heel injury management) will not play Friday against the Suns. The Nuggets are going to be very thin with Nikola Jokic (calf), Jamal Murray (rest) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (illness) all sitting out. Aaron Gordon and Bruce Brown will likely see massive usage rate spikes, and Jeff Green could play an expanded role as well.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Questionable Friday
Porter is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Suns due to left heel injury management. All of Denver's starting five outside of Aaron Gordon are listed as questionable, so fantasy managers will need to keep an eye on the injury report leading up to tipoff. An absence from Porter could lead to more minutes for Bruce Brown, Christian Braun, Jeff Green and Zeke Nnaji.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Cleared to play
Porter (heel) will play Monday night against the 76ers, Brendan Vogt of TheDNVR.com reports. Porter was initially added to the team's injury report due to left heel injury management, but he's since been given the green light to run the floor. The Missouri product is averaging 18.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists through 11 March appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Questionable Monday
Porter is questionable for Monday's game against the 76ers due to left heel injury management. Porter is dealing with some pain in his left heel, and if that forces him to the sidelines for Monday's game, that could result in Bruce Brown getting a spot start, and there would be more minutes available for Christian Braun, Jeff Green and Vlatko Cancar. Check back for another update on Porter closer to Monday's tip.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Scores 19 points
Porter supplied 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and seven rebounds over 28 minutes during Saturday's 129-106 win over Milwaukee. Porter was efficient from the field and extended his double-digit scoring streak to seven games. During that stretch, the sharpshooter is averaging 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists with 54/51/86 shooting splits.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Drills six threes
Porter notched 21 points (7-16 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 118-104 win over the Wizards. Porter tied his season high with the six made triples. His fantasy value is tied primarily to his scoring and three-point production, and with Porter converting at a 47.1 percent rate from downtown so far in March, he's more or less met expectations for managers.... Nuggets' Michael Porter: Pops for 28 in Sunday's win
Porter finished Sunday's 108-102 win over the Nets with 28 points (10-18 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds and three assists over 31 minutes. It's his best scoring performance since he dropped 29 on the Clippers on Feb. 26. Porter's production has been a bit erratic in March -- he's scored 12 points or fewer three times this month -- but in nine games he's averaging 18.3 points, 5.2 boards, 2.9 threes and 1.4 assists while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor and 44.1 percent from beyond the arc.... Nuggets' Michael Porter: Ho-hum performance in loss
Porter closed with 11 points (4-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt) and five rebounds across 30 minutes during Saturday's 116-110 loss to the Knicks. Porter played 30 minutes in the loss, but outside of his three triples, he offered basically nothing. On the whole, it's been a somewhat disappointing season for Porter, who is currently sitting outside the top 100 in nine-category leagues. He remains a must-roster talent, although his inability to expand his overall fantasy game is a little concerning. At this point, he should be looked at as a player who can help with points, rebounds and three-pointers only.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Continues to shoot efficiently
Porter finished Tuesday's 125-110 loss to the Raptors with 23 points (8-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes. Porter came through with better-than-usual numbers across the board Tuesday, as his points, three-pointers, rebounds, assists and steals totals all exceeded his season-long averages. The 24-year-old has stepped up his game since the All-Star break, which has been a welcome sight for the Nuggets while Jamal Murray has endured a bit of a rough patch.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Hits for 23 in Sunday's loss
Porter produced 23 points (9-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Sunday's 122-120 loss to the Nets. After scoring only 19 total points over the prior two games, Porter returned to form Sunday, although it wasn't enough to end the Nuggets' brief losing skid. The fourth-year forward has scored 20 or more points in five of nine games since the All-Star break, averaging 18.2 points, 5.1 boards and 2.9 threes over that stretch. It's worth noting that Porter sat for much of the fourth quarter and saw fewer than 25 minutes for the third straight game.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Ejected against San Antonio
Porter was ejected Friday against the Spurs. Porter picked up a technical foul for taunting Zach Collins, then picked up his second in a minor altercation shortly thereafter. Porter finished the evening with seven points, one rebound, one assist and one three-pointer in 20 minutes. No punches were thrown, so a suspension seems unlikely.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Available to play
Porter (illness) will be available to play Wednesday versus Chicago. Porter is a bit under the weather, but he'll gut it out and get out there for Wednesday's game. He played through the illness Monday and came through with 20 points, five rebounds, four triples, one steal and two turnovers across 32 minutes, so he's safe to activate in fantasy leagues.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Takes part in shootaround
Porter (illness) participated in shootaround Wednesday, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports. Given the reason behind Porter's designation, his inclusion in shootaround backs his probable designation for the evening's contest. Barring a downswing in his health leading up to the opening tip, expect Porter to maintain his usual spot in Denver's starting five Wednesday versus the Bulls.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Listed as probable for Wednesday
Porter (illness) is probable for Wednesday's matchup against the Bulls. Porter played through the illness Monday and logged his fifth 20-plus-point game over his last seven appearances. The sharpshooter is expected to suit up again Wednesday and should garner his usual role versus Chicago, though fantasy managers should still confirm Porter's status ahead of the 9:00 p.m. ET tipoff.... Nuggets' Michael Porter: Plays through illness, scores 20
Porter (illness) provided 20 points (7-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds and one steal in 32 minutes during Monday's 118-113 win over Toronto. Porter battled through an illness leading up to the opening tip, but he proceeded to suit up and posted his fifth 20-plus-point game over his last seven appearances. During that stretch, he's averaging 20.6 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 55.3 percent from the field and 46.3 percent from deep.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Will play vs. Raptors
Porter (illness) has been cleared to play Monday against Toronto. As expected, Porter has been given the green light to take the court Monday evening. He's averaging 20.7 points and 6.2 rebounds over his last six matchups.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Should go Monday
Porter (illness) is expected to play Monday against the Raptors, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports. Porter was initially added to the injury report as questionable due to an illness, but he appears to be trending in the right direction. Expect a final decision from the team on his status closer to tipoff.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Questionable with illness
Porter is questionable for Wednesday against the Raptors due to an illness. He's a late addition to the injury report, so it's possible the Nuggets wait and see how he feels during warmups. If Porter is unable to play, we could see Bruce Brown and Jeff Green step up for the Nuggets.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Michael Porter: Drops 26 points in win
Porter notched 26 points (8-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 113-97 victory over Memphis. Porter's minutes have been all over the place, but he hasn't missed a game since Jan. 25. Denver's maintenance plan is working, and now Porter will have a couple of days off until the Nuggets play against the Raptors on Monday.... See More ... See Less

Harrison Wind@HarrisonWind2D agoMichael Malone on Nikola Jokic potentially averaging a triple-double this year and if it’s something Denver will chase: “He’s not a a stat-padder. He’s not a stat-chaser. If it happened in an inorganic matter it would lose its luster and it wouldn’t be much of an accomplishment.”

Harrison Wind@HarrisonWind2D agoMichael Malone says Nikola Jokic’s calf (injury) — he’s questionable with calf tightness — “has been brewing.” He played through it against the 76ers and didn’t do a lot at practice yesterday. Denver will “err on the side of caution” tonight.
