Lee isn't starting Game 1 of the Western Conference First Round against the Clippers on Sunday. Lee started the Suns' regular-season finale with the team resting several contributors. However, as a two-way player, he won't be able to suit up to begin the postseason.... See More ... See Less

Suns' Saben Lee: Scores season-high 25 points
Lee ended Sunday's 119-114 loss to the Clippers with 25 points (8-21 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 6-8 FT), three rebounds, nine assists and two steals over 44 minutes. Lee stepped up Sunday, playing as the starting point guard with the Suns electing to rest basically their entire starting five. After putting together a few decent performances in January, Lee has fallen off the radar in recent times. Outside of potential blowouts, Lee figures to remain fixed to the bench most nights as we enter the postseason.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Saben Lee: Will start Sunday
Lee will start Sunday's game against the Clippers, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. With the Suns locked into the fourth seed and resting all their starters, Lee slides into the first five and will be joined by Josh Okogie, Jock Landale, Landry Shamet and Ish Wainright. Last time out, Lee posted nine points, four rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Saben Lee: Struggles from field
Lee logged nine points (4-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes during Friday's 121-107 loss to the Lakers. Lee cracked the rotation and reached double-digit minutes for the first time since the February 2 win against the Pacers. The increased playing time can be attributed to the Suns resting four of their starters including Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton. Even with the additional playing time, Lee struggled from the field and failed to score in double digits.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Saben Lee: Provides modest stats as backup
Lee closed with four points (0-1 FG, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals in 15 minutes during Saturday's 116-100 win over the Pistons. Like Chris Paul, Lee struggled to score from the point guard position in Saturday's win, but he still managed to provide a bit of value in steals and assists. With no Duane Washington in Phoenix now, perhaps Lee can carve out a larger backup role in the rotation until Cameron Payne (foot) returns. Until then, he should be considered in only very deep formats.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Saben Lee: Returns to Phoenix on two-way deal
The Suns signed Lee to a two-way contract Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Lee's second 10-day contract with Phoenix recently expired, making him a free agent, but the 2020 second-round pick will return to the Suns' organization via a two-way deal. Across 10 appearances with Phoenix, Lee has averaged 7.0 points, 3.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 17.1 minutes per game. In a corresponding move, the Suns waived Duane Washington.... See More ... Saben Lee: Contract expires
Lee's second 10-day contract with the Suns expired Tuesday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Because he's now completed two 10-day deals with Phoenix, Lee would need to be signed to the 15-man roster or to one of the team's two two-way slots in order to be eligible to play for the Suns moving forward. The third-year point guard has appeared in each of Phoenix's past 10 games while averaging 7.0 points, 3.3 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 0.6 three-pointers in 17.1 minutes per contest, but his playing time has dropped off of late with Chris Paul having returned to full health. Even so, Phoenix could stand to benefit from keeping Lee on hand as backcourt depth, given that Cameron Payne (foot) and Landry Shamet (foot) are out indefinitely along with the fact that Devin Booker (groin) is unlikely to return until at least late in the week.... Suns' Saben Lee: Expected to sign another 10-day
Lee is expected to sign a second 10-day contract with the Suns, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports. Lee's initial 10-day contract expires Saturday, but he's expected to stick around the organization for at least another week and a half. The 2020 second-round pick has appeared in four straight games for the Suns and averaged 11.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 21.3 minutes during that stretch, including a 15-point, six-assist performance during Thursday's win over Brooklyn.... Suns' Saben Lee: Season-best performance Thursday
Lee had 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Thursday's 117-112 victory over the Nets. Lee scored in double digits for the third straight game, putting together easily his best performance of the season. After recently signing a 10-day contract with the Suns, Lee has been able to flaunt his talent, suiting up for four consecutive games. Injuries to other players have certainly helped his cause, but given his impressive play, there is certainly a chance he sticks on the roster a bit longer. If Chris Paul (hip) remains out Saturday, Lee is at least someone to consider, even in 12-team formats.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Saben Lee: Left off injury report
Lee (personal) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus Denver. It appears that Lee will be available for Wednesday's game after missing his previous contest with the Raptors 905 of the G league due to a personal reason. The 23-year-old guard is in a position to receive playing time with Devin Booker (groin), Chris Paul (hip), Cameron Payne (foot) and Landry Shamet (hip) all out.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Saben Lee: Lands 10-day contract
The Suns signed Lee (personal) to a 10-day contract Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Lee had been playing for the G League's Raptors 905, but he'll join Phoenix to provide additional depth in the backcourt. He missed the 905's last game due to a personal matter, but the Suns' decision to sign him implies that he's likely not expected to be away for an extended period. It's unclear if he'll be available for the Suns' matchup against the Nuggets on Wednesday, however.... See More ... See Less -
Saben Lee: Out due to personal reason
Lee did not play during the 905's 123-116 loss to Capital City on Tuesday due to a personal reason. Lee's absence is his first since the G League restarted in December. Gabe Brown played in place of Lee, while Dalano Banton and Ron Harper were the 905's starting backcourt instead.... See More ... See Less -
Saben Lee: Records double-double
Lee logged 23 points (9-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 10 assists, four rebounds and three steals across 41 minutes during the 905's 129-119 loss Wednesday at Long Island. After being one assist short of logging a double-double during his first G League game across 2023, Lee recorded the feat Wednesday. Fantasy managers should expect him to continue being a versatile threat while acclimating with the 905.... See More ... See Less -
Saben Lee: Almost logs double-double
Lee logged 21 points (9-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT), nine assists, six rebounds, four steals and one block across 36 minutes during the 905's 110-102 loss Monday at Long Island. Lee was one assist short of logging a double-double. After the Philadelphia 76ers released him, he signed with the Toronto Raptors' G League team. Lee has been doing quite well, as his three-game averages of 14.7 points and 7.7 assists suggest.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Saben Lee: Let go by Philadelphia
The 76ers waived Lee on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Lee is being waived for Philadelphia to sign Louis King to a two-way contract. The 23-year-old guard has only played in two games for the 76ers but has spent the rest of the season with the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Saben Lee: Flirts with triple-double
Lee recorded 20 points (7-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 12 assists, eight rebounds and one steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 118-113 win over Sioux Falls in the G League Showcase. Lee scored 20 points for the 12th time this year and dished out a season-high 12 assists, notching his third double-double of the campaign. He also grabbed at least eight rebounds for the second time this year, falling two short of his first triple-double.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Saben Lee: Scores 24 points in win
Lee tallied 24 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 10-11 FT), six assists, three rebounds and two steals in 34 minutes during Friday's 122-113 win over Westchester. Lee has scored at least 20 points in all but two contests this year. He needed 11 trips to the charity stripe to reach that plateau Friday, finishing one shy of his season high in free-throw attempts.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Saben Lee: Flirts with triple-double
Lee totaled 28 points (9-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, eight assists and three steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 120-117 loss to College Park. Lee scored at least 20 points for a seventh straight game and grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds en route to his second double-double of the campaign. Across 12 appearances, the 23-year-old is averaging 23.9 points, 6.0 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 34.6 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Saben Lee: Scores team-high 26 points
Lee tallied 26 points (9-17 FG, 1-4 3PT, 4-6 FT), four assists, three rebounds and one block in 33 minutes during Friday's 113-108 loss to Westchester. Lee has scored at least 20 points in five straight games and in eight of his 10 appearances this season. Across 10 contests, the 23-year-old is averaging 22.8 points while shooting 52.9 percent from the field.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Saben Lee: Strong production not enough
Lee registered 28 points (8-22 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-9 FT), seven rebounds and six assists in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 130-114 loss to Long Island. Lee has finished with at least 20 points and five assists in four straight games, but he also set a new season high with seven boards during Wednesday's loss. Across nine appearances, the 23-year-old is averaging 22.4 points, 5.9 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 34.1 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less
