Wallace will return to the bench for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.comreports. Jalen Williams (hip) is healthy again, so this was an expected move for the Thunder. Wallace hasn't fared well with the starting lineup in four tries this season, averaging just 5.0 points and 1.8 rebounds in 23.5 minutes as a starter.... See More ... See Less

Thunder's Cason Wallace: Joins starting lineup
Wallace is starting Sunday against the Trail Blazers, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. The Thunder will be playing without Jalen Williams (hip) during Sunday's matchup, so Wallace will join the starting lineup for the second time this year. During his previous start against the Warriors on Nov. 3, he tallied 13 points, two rebounds and an assist in 36 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Good to go against Golden State
Wallace (shoulder) is available for Saturday's game versus the Warriors. Wallace has been upgraded from questionable to available Saturday despite dealing with a right shoulder sprain. The rookie guard should continue to be one of Oklahoma City's primary options off the bench in the backcourt.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Scores in double figures off bench
Wallace amassed 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds, four assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Thursday's 128-109 win over the Warriors. Wallace scored in double figures for just the fourth time this year and tied his season high with four assists. The rookie first-round pick is averaging 22.7 minutes per game, but his increased usage Thursday was likely due to the blowout nature of Thursday's contest. Either way, Wallace has carved out a consistent role to start 2023-24, but barring injuries, he isn't producing enough to be a reliable fantasy option in a crowded and talented rotation.... Thunder's Cason Wallace: Strong outing in win
Wallace supplied 14 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 128-120 win over the Cavaliers. Wallace recorded a season-high 12 points in Wednesday's victory while coming off the bench. The 20-year-old guard has shown impressive efficiency for a rookie, posting 69.2/57.1/100 shooting splits. While these numbers will surely decrease, Wallace should continue to be one of Oklahoma City's first options off the bench in the backcourt.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Solid in first career start
Wallace finished Friday's 141-139 loss to the Warriors with 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 36 minutes. Wallace made his first career start Friday and played a season-high 36 minutes due to the absence of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (knee). While has shown impressive efficiency for a young guard, he has yet to dish out over two dimes in his first six appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Enters starting lineup
Wallace will enter the starting lineup Friday against the Warriors, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is sitting out Friday's game with a knee issue, but he's believed to be day-to-day. Wallace's first career start won't be an easy one, as he'll be facing the likes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Wallace has played very well in the first five games of his rookie season, as he's averaging 7.4 points while shooting 81.3 percent from the field.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Will play Thursday
Head coach Mark Daigneault confirmed Wallace (toe) will play Thursday against the Pistons, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports. Wallace didn't play in Tuesday's matchup against the Bucks, so his availability here is certainly a good sign moving forward. He's battling for a bench role on the Opening Night roster, but even if he makes it, his playing time should be minimal during the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Won't play Tuesday
Wallace (toe) is out for Tuesday's preseason game versus Milwaukee, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports. Wallace is considered day-to-day with a toe sprain and won't suit up Tuesday. His next opportunity to play is Thursday's preseason matchup with Detroit.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Considered day-to-day
Wallace (toe) is considered day-to-day, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports. Wallace played in Sunday's preseason contest but lasted only eight minutes before picking up the injury. Coach Mark Daigneault said the team will be conservative with Wallace going forward, and it's unlikely that he will play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Bucks.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Won't return Sunday
Wallace (toe) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's preseason contest against Charlotte. Wallace exited early in the second quarter after spraining his left big toe. Tre Mann and Aaron Wiggins are candidates for extra usage for the remainder of the contest.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Dormant offensively
Wallace had two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and three steals in 25 minutes during Oklahoma City's 122-121 preseason victory over the Spurs on Monday Wallace made his presence felt defensively and led all starters in minutes played, but he was passive and contained offensively. Additionally, his limited usage occurred with fellow guards Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (rest) and Vasilije Micic (ankle) inactive.... See More ... See Less
