  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Goes for 33 points in Game 2 win

Gilgeous-Alexander had 33 points (13-19 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 124-92 victory over the Pelicans in Game 2 of the Western Conference first round. The Thunder secured a statement win in Game 2 of the series, and Gilgeous-Alexander was dominant en route to his first 30-point effort since April 9, when he exploded for 40 points in a win over the Kings. Gilgeous-Alexander should lead the Thunder in Game 3 on Saturday, and he's having an excellent series so far, shooting 55.8 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep in the first two games against New Orleans.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Carries OKC to victory in Game 1

Gilgeous-Alexander closed with 28 points (11-24 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds and four assists across 39 minutes during Sunday's 94-92 victory over New Orleans in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Gilgeous-Alexander looked a bit off at times and wasn't as dominant as he's been in previous games, but the star floor general came through when the team needed him the most. An off-balance shot in the dying stages of the fourth quarter would be the game-winner for a Thunder team that had to work harder than expected to get past New Orleans. Gilgeous-Alexander was massive during the regular season and was named a finalist for the MVP Award on Sunday, so he's expected to continue leading the way for the Thunder in this series. Game 2 is scheduled for Wednesday at Paycom Center.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Drops game-high 26 in win

Gilgeous-Alexander closed Wednesday's 127-89 win over San Antonio with 26 points (10-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds and five assists over 26 minutes. The 25-year-old guard led all scorers on the night as OKC cruised to an easy win over a shorthanded Spurs squad. Gilgeous-Alexander has looked like his usual self in two games since returning from a quadricep strain, and with the Thunder still trying to topple the Nuggets and claim the top seed in the Western Conference, expect him to see heavy usage over the final two games of the regular season.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Scores 40 points in return

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadricep) ended with 40 points (11-21 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 16-20 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals over 38 minutes in Tuesday's 112-105 win over the Kings. Gilgeous-Alexander missed the past four games due to a right quad contusion, but he returned in style to lead the Thunder to their 54th win of the campaign. Gilgeous-Alexander now has six games this season with at least 40 points.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Full go against Sacramento

Gilgeous-Alexander won't face any restrictions during Tuesday's game versus the Kings, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports. Gilgeous-Alexander is set to return to action Tuesday after missing the Thunder's last four games with a quadriceps injury. The star guard won't be operating under a minutes restriction and should be able to play around his season average of 34.4 minutes per contest.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Not listed on injury report

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) isn't listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game against the Kings. Gilgeous-Alexander has missed four straight and six of the last seven games due to a quadriceps injury, but he'll return to action Tuesday. In March (13 games), the superstar point guard averaged 26.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.9 blocks in 34.2 minutes per game. The Thunder are battling for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, so it'd be surprising if they put significant restrictions on Gilgeous-Alexander over the final week of the regular season.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Out for next two games

Head coach Mark Daigneault said that Gilgeous-Alexander (quadricep) returned to Oklahoma City on Thursday and will miss the final two games of the Thunder's road trip Friday in Indiana and Sunday in Charlotte, Joel Lorenzi of The Oklahoman reports. Daigneault said the team is worried the superstar point guard will lose his conditioning on the road, as the Thunder have less access to gyms while traveling. The Thunder will return to Oklahoma City ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Kings, but Gilgeous-Alexander's status for that game remains to be determined. Josh Giddey should see more time in an on-ball role and Cason Wallace, Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe should continue to receive increased playing time for at least the next two games until Gilgeous-Alexander is cleared for a full workload.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Remains out against Indiana

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) won't play in Friday's game versus the Pacers. Gilgeous-Alexander's absence streak will extend to three games Friday due to a right quad contusion. Cason Wallace will likely draw another start in his continued absence. Gilgeous-Alexander's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Charlotte.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Won't play Wednesday

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Celtics. Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams (ankle) were both absent for Tuesday's loss to Philadelphia and will remain sidelined for the second half of the Thunder's back-to-back set. It'll mark Gilgeous-Alexander's fourth absence over Oklahoma City's last five games due to a right quad bruise, and his next chance to suit up will come Friday in Indiana. Aaron Wiggins and Jaylin Williams started Tuesday, but Isaiah Joe and Gordon Hayward also saw increased roles off the bench.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Officially out Tuesday

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadricep) won't play in Tuesday's game against Philadelphia, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. Gilgeous-Alexander will miss his third contest out of Oklahoma City's last four games due to a right quad bruise. Jalen Williams (ankle) is also sitting out Tuesday, so Josh Giddey will be relied on as a playmaker, while Isaiah Joe, Cason Wallace and Aaron Wiggins could step into important roles offensively. Gilgeous-Alexander's next opportunity to take the court comes Wednesday versus Boston.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Still considered questionable

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadricep) didn't go through the Thunder's morning shootaround, but he remains questionable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports. In lieu of taking part in shootaround, Gilgeous-Alexander received treatment on his bruised right quad, so he could be trending toward a game-time call ahead of the 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. The Thunder have already ruled out Jalen Williams (ankle) for the contest, so if Gilgeous-Alexander joins him in street clothes, the team would be without its top two scoring options. Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins are among the players who could step into expanded roles if Gilgeous-Alexander is sidelined for the third time in four games.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Listed questionable for Tuesday

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers. Surprisingly, Gilgeous-Alexander played Sunday versus the Knicks after initially being listed as doubtful, but he delivered a subpar outing during his return from a two-game absence. He'll attempt to play through the issue again Tuesday, but his availability will likely come down to a game-time decision. If Gilgeous-Alexander is sidelined again, Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe are candidates for increased playing time.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Subpar display in return

Gilgeous-Alexander (quad) closed with 19 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Sunday's 113-112 win over the Knicks. Gilgeous-Alexander didn't have his best performance in his return from a two-game absence, and while his final stat line was not woeful by any means, the star floor general looked a bit rusty and lacked some of the explosiveness that has characterized him all season. The fact that he logged 35 minutes is certainly positive, and he should be able to shake off the rust moving forward.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Good to go Sunday

Gilgeous-Alexander is available and won't face any restrictions during Sunday's game against the Knicks, Nick Gallo of the Thunder's official site reports. Gilgeous-Alexander missed back-to-back games and was trending toward a third straight absence after being listed as doubtful. However, he was upgraded to questionable Sunday morning after participating in the Thunder's morning shootaround and has officially gotten the green light to return to game action. In March (12 games), Gilgeous-Alexander has averaged 26.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.0 blocks in 34.2 minutes per game.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Present for shootaround

Gilgeous-Alexander (quad) was seen getting shots up at the Thunder's morning shootaround in advance of Sunday's game against the Knicks Joel Lorenzi of The Oklahoman reports. Gilgeous-Alexander is trending in the right direction to suit up Sunday, but his status will still need to be monitored. The Thunder have posted a 1-2 record without him this season, beating Phoenix on Friday but losing to Houston and Golden State in prior affairs.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Upgraded to questionable

Gilgeous-Alexander (quad) has ascended to questionable in advance of Sunday's game against the Knicks. Gilgeous-Alexander has missed two consecutive contests due to a right quad bruise, but he appears to be on the mend. His status could come down to pregame warm-ups, and while ensuring his rest-of-season health is likely an organizational priority, Oklahoma City remains amid a contested battle with Minnesota and Denver for the top seed in the Western Conference. Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins have garnered enlarged workloads in Gilgeous-Alexander's recent absences.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Doubtful for Sunday

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Knicks. This will likely be the third straight game on the shelf for Gilgeous-Alexander, and there hasn't been many updates on his progress. The Thunder are currently second in the Western Conference and are on cruise control, so it's possible they are being extra cautious.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Downgraded to out

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Suns, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports. As expected, Gilgeous-Alexander has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will miss a second consecutive game. Cason Wallace should draw another start, while Josh Giddey will likely handle more ball-handling responsibilities. Gilgeous-Alexander's next chance to suit up will come Sunday in New York.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Doubtful for Friday

Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) is doubtful to play Friday against the Suns. Gilgeous-Alexander missed Wednesday's overtime loss to the Rockets due to a right quadriceps contusion, so it remains to be seen whether he'll be able to tolerate the pain enough to play, or if the Thunder will remain cautious with his recovery process given their position in the standings. If Gilgeous-Alexander ends up being ruled out Friday, then Cason Wallace could remain in the starting lineup.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Won't play Wednesday

Gigeous-Alexander has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Rockets due to a right quadriceps contusion. Gilgeous-Alexander will sit out the second leg of the Thunder's back-to-back Wednesday due to a right quadriceps injury he suffered against Utah. Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe are candidates to receive increased playing time in his absence. Gilgeous-Alexander's next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Phoenix.
