Konchar produced three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 18 minutes during Monday's 112-108 victory over Dallas. Memphis outrebounded Dallas by 13 Monday, and Konchar did his part to contribute by grabbing seven boards in just 18 minutes. He didn't do much else, but this was still one of his better games in recent memory. Konchar hasn't posted double-digit scoring in a game since Jan. 1, and he's averaging just 1.2 points over 16.2 minutes across his past six contests.... See More ... See Less

Grizzlies' John Konchar: Modest production Thursday
Konchar logged eight points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes during Thursday's 131-110 victory over the Warriors. Konchar continues to play meaningful minutes, logging at least 20 minutes for the third straight game. While he was able to impact the game from a reality standpoint, his tangible production continues to fade in comparison. For now, a consistent role appears to be his, making him a player to consider in deeper formats.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Loses minutes to Kennard
Konchar finished with three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt) in five minutes in Sunday's 119-109 loss to the Celtics. Konchar kept his spot in the Grizzlies' rotation, but he saw a steep reduction in playing time from the 27 minutes he played two days earlier while head coach Taylor Jenkins deployed trade-deadline pickup Luke Kennard (22 minutes) as the team's top wing off the bench. The split in playing time between Kennard and Konchar may not be quite as extreme in the games to come, but Konchar's already modest role still looks as though will shrink in the wake of the trade deadline.... Grizzlies' John Konchar: Set to play Thursday
Konchar (concussion) was left off the injury report for Thursday's game versus the Cavaliers. Konchar will make his return from a four-game injury after being cleared from concussion protocols. He is averaging 6.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 23.2 minutes across 43 contests this season.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Officially ruled out
Konchar (concussion) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Trail Blazers. Konchar has been downgraded from questionable to out Wednesday despite clearing concussion protocols. However, this was due to precautionary reasons, and he will likely have the opportunity to play in Thursday's contest against Cleveland.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Unlikely to play Wednesday
Konchar has cleared concussion protocols but is likely out for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers due to precautionary reasons, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports. Konchar is expected to miss his fourth consecutive game Wednesday due to a concussion. However, now that he has cleared protocols, he will have a chance to play in Thursday's matchup with Cleveland. Konchar is averaging 0.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.0 minutes across his last five appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Questionable against Portland
Konchar (concussion) is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Trail Blazers. Konchar is questionable to miss his fourth straight game as he remains in concussion protocols. If he's ruled out Wednesday, his next chance to suit up is Thursday's matchup with Cleveland.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Ruled out Sunday
Konchar (concussion) will not play in Sunday's game against the Pacers. Konchar will miss a third straight tilt as he remains in concussion protocols. With Desmond Bane (knee) and Danny Green (knee) doubtful, the Grizzlies may have to turn to David Roddy, Ziaire Williams and Jake LaRavia on the wing for Sunday's contest. Konchar will have another opportunity to return Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Still out Friday
Konchar (concussion) remains out for Friday's matchup against the Timberwolves. Konchar will miss a second straight game. The Grizzlies could be extra thin on the wing, as Desmond Bane (knee) is questionable.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Out with concussion
Konchar has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Warriors while in the NBA's concussion protocol. There was no word of a head injury following the Grizzlies' last matchup Monday against the Kings, so it's unclear as to when Konchar suffered the injury. He'll need to pass through the league's protocol prior to gaining clearance to return.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Goes unnoticed in loss
Konchar notched zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal over six minutes during Sunday's 112-110 loss to Phoenix. Konchar barely saw the floor in the loss, continuing a trend that has seen him play fewer than 16 minutes in six straight games. While he has had some nice moments this season, he is simply too hard to trust, especially when the team is relatively healthy, as they are now.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Seemingly available Wednesday
Konchar isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Cavaliers. Konchar is set to play Wednesday after missing the last two games with a non-COVID illness. The 26-year-old guard's return will likely result in reduced minutes for Ziaire Williams and David Roddy.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Won't play Monday
Konchar (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Suns. Konchar was listed as questionable ahead of Monday's matchup but was considered unlikely to play against Phoenix due to his non-COVID illness. Ziaire Williams and David Roddy will likely see increased playing time once again Monday.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Expected to sit Monday
Konchar (illness) is unlikely to play in Monday's game against the Suns, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports. Konchar is slated to miss a second consecutive contest due to a non-COVID illness. His absence should open up minutes on the wing for Ziaire Williams and David Roddy. Konchar's next chance to play will come Wednesday against the Cavaliers.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Questionable against Phoenix
Konchar (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against the Suns. Konchar continues to deal with a non-COVID illness, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be available Monday after missing Saturday's game against the Pacers. Although Dillon Brooks (ankle) will be back in action against Phoenix, David Roddy and Ziaire Williams could see increased run if Konchar is unavailable.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Ruled out Saturday
Konchar will not suit up for Saturday's game against the Pacers due to a non-COVID illness. Konchar will be sidelined for just the third time this season with an illness. Dillon Brooks (ankle) was also tabbed questionable for the contest, meaning David Roddy and Ziaire Williams could earn more playing time Saturday. However, Konchar has averaged just 14.3 minutes in his last three contests, so the additional workloads for his teammates will be limited. Konchar's next chance to take the floor will come Monday against Phoenix.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Back in starting five
Konchar will start Thursday's game versus the Magic, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports. Konchar continues to receive the nod when Desmond Bane (toe) gets the night off, which is the case again Thursday for injury management purposes. Konchar is averaging 9.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals over 27.9 minutes across 21 games as a starter, so there's some additional upside to his fantasy outlook Thursday.... Grizzlies' John Konchar: Drops out of starting unit
Konchar will not start Wednesday's game versus the Hornets, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports. Konchar made a spot start with Desmond Bane on the sidelines but returns to the bench with Bane back in action Wednesday. He should still log a healthy role in this one, likely nearing or topping 20 minutes. Konchar enters the night averaging 5.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists over 22.2 minutes per game over his 13 bench appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Starting Sunday
Konchar is in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Kings, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports. Konchar will jump to the starting unit in place of Desmond Bane, who had been ruled out due to injury management. Konchar is averaging 8.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game in 20 starts this season.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' John Konchar: Back to bench
Konchar will operate off the bench during Friday's matchup against the Suns, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports. Konchar will shift back to the bench with Desmond Bane back in action following a lengthy absence due to a toe injury. However, Bane is expected to operate under a minutes restriction, so Konchar should still see a sizable role off the bench. Konchar has averaged 5.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 23.6 minutes in eight games as a reserve.... See More ... See Less
