The Magic signed Franks to a second 10-day contract Thursday.
Franks appeared in four of the Magic's five games during his first week and a half with the team, averaging 5.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 three-pointers in 11.8 minutes per contest. With Otto Porter (foot) facing an uncertain timeline for a return, Franks could continue to handle a small role on the second unit behind starting power forward Chuma Okeke.

Franks is singing a 10-day contract with the Magic, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The Magic are signing Franks from their G League affiliate, the Lakeland Magic. This past season with Lakeland, Franks averaged 12.1 points and 6.7 rebounds while topping double figures offensively in nine different matchups. Franks will likely play behind starter Chuma Okeke and Otto Porter.

Robert Franks: Picked up by Swarm on G League deal
Franks signed a G League contract Monday and has been acquired by the Swarm as a returning player.
Franks was officially waived by the Hornets a couple weeks back and has opted to stick in the States with hopes of catching the eye of NBA scouts yet again. While he played minimally for Charlotte, Franks was a major contributor for the swarm, averaging 18.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists over 32 minutes per contest. Look for him to slot back into a major role for the G League affiliate.
