Achiuwa finished with 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and two steals across 18 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 112-105 victory over the Suns. It's the first double-double of the season for Achiuwa, and just the fourth time in 13 games he's scored in double digits. The fourth-year center has only played 20 or more minutes once in 10 November contests, averaging 7.2 points, 5.6 boards and 2.3 assists on the month, and without a bigger role in the Raptors' frontcourt rotation, he's tough to roster in most fantasy formats.... Raptors' Precious Achiuwa: Will play Friday
Achiuwa (knee) is available for Friday's matchup with the Bulls, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Achiuwa is coming off a one-game absence due to a knee issue. However, his participation in Friday's shootaround indicated he was trending in this direction. Barring any setbacks, look for the big man to assume his usual responsibilities backing up Jakob Poeltl at center.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Precious Achiuwa: Participates in shootaround
Achiuwa (knee), who's listed as questionable, participated in Toronto's morning shootaround ahead of Friday's matchup against the Bulls, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Raptors' Precious Achiuwa: Iffy for Friday
Achiuwa (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Bulls. Achiuwa sat out Wednesday's close win over the Pacers -- his first absence since Nov. 8. In five November appearances, Achiuwa has averaged 8.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 19.6 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -

Achiuwa's next chance to play will come Saturday against Boston.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Precious Achiuwa: Downgraded to doubtful
Achiuwa (groin) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game versus the Mavericks. Achiuwa will likely miss his fifth straight game Wednesday after being downgraded from questionable to doubtful. Raptors' Precious Achiuwa: Questionable for Wednesday
Achiuwa (groin) is officially listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against Dallas, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Jakob Poeltl and Chris Boucher will likely continue to receive extended minutes, while Achiuwa's next chance to play will come against the Spurs on Sunday.... See More ... See Less -

Raptors' Precious Achiuwa: Officially doubtful
Achiuwa is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game against Milwaukee. Achiuwa's groin injury will likely force him to be inactive Wednesday. Achiuwa (groin) didn't practice with the team Tuesday but did some individual workouts, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. Achiuwa (groin) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Trail Blazers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. His next opportunity to suit up will be Wednesday against the Bucks.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Precious Achiuwa: Doubtful Monday
Achiuwa (groin) is doubtful for Monday's game against Portland, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports. After dealing with a groin injury throughout training camp, Achiuwa aggravating his groin injury Saturday bodes poorly for his availability moving forward. The 24-year-old still appears to be day-to-day, but Jalen McDaniels and Chris Boucher might be in line for enlarged roles.... See More ... See Less -
Raptors' Precious Achiuwa: Won't return Saturday
Achiuwa suffered a groin injury and won't return to Saturday's game against the 76ers, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Achiuwa was diagnosed with left groin tightness, and the issue was severe enough to rule him out for the rest of the contest. It shouldn't be a long-term issue, however, and his next chance to play will come against the Trail Blazers on Monday. Josh Lewenberg@JLew10502D agoBarnes was awesome but didn't get enough help and the Raptors didn't defend well enough to make up for brutal 3-point shooting (even for them). A good recipe for a bad loss. Raptors are 9-11 after 20 games and continue to alternate great wins and ugly losses.

Josh Lewenberg@JLew10502D agoThe Raptors are being outscored 45-15 from beyond the arc. Even if they were playing well defensively, that kind of disparity is almost impossible to overcome (note: they're not playing well defensively).

Michael Grange@michaelgrange2D agoThe Knicks outscore Raptors 33-20 in the third quarter. New York's really deep with quality options at nearly every position and it's been the difference so far. Trent Jr., Achiuwa and Flynn a combined -49 through three Qs. New York leads 90-77.

Josh Lewenberg@JLew10502D agoRaptors shot 9-for-25 in Q3, including 2-for-11 from 3. Subtract Barnes? 6-18 from the field, 0-6 from 3. The non-Scottie Raps tonight: 21-59 FG, 2-19 (!!) 3P. He's the biggest (only?) reason they're still in this. What was a tie game at half is now a 13pt Knicks lead after 3Q
