Mann contributed 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes during Thursday's 128-111 loss to Toronto. Mann was back in the rotation Thursday, playing 21 minutes off the bench after missing the previous three games. The Thunder are not afraid to shuffle their rotation based on the matchup, so while this was a decent performance, there is no guarantee that Mann will remain active for the next game.... Thunder's Tre Mann: Sees extended minutes in blowout
Mann closed with 14 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 132-101 loss to the Suns. Mann scored his most points since Feb. 6 and played his most minutes since Jan. 3 in Wednesday's loss. However, the second-year guard has tallied double-digit points in just three of his last 10 appearances and doesn't have a big enough role to offer much fantasy value outside of a reserve role in deep leagues. He's likely to fall out of the rotation as soon as the Thunder have both of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen) and Jalen Williams (wrist) available, perhaps as soon as Saturday's game at New Orleans.... Thunder's Tre Mann: Solid output in limited minutes
Mann ended Friday's 124-115 loss to the Suns with 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 16 minutes. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) out, Mann still failed to reach the 20-minute threshold for the third game in a row, but that didn't matter much, as he posted his best scoring output since recording 18 points against the Warriors on Feb. 6. Mann holds a minimal -- and inconsistent -- role off the bench, however, so he doesn't carry a lot of fantasy upside even on nights when the Thunder are without key backcourt members.... See More ... Thunder's Tre Mann: Recalled from G League
Mann was recalled from the G League's Oklahoma City Blue on Wednesday, Rylan Stiles of BricktownBuckets.com reports. Mann appeared in the Blue's 106-98 loss to the Hustle on Wednesday and logged 12 points (5-16 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 31 minutes. He'll likely be available for the Thunder's game against Houston on Wednesday. Over his last five appearances with the Thunder, he's averaged 11.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 18.0 minutes per game.... Thunder's Tre Mann: Back to G League
The Thunder assigned Mann to the G League's Oklahoma City Blue on Tuesday, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports. Mann didn't play in Monday's loss to the Pelicans, snapping a 23-game streak with an appearance. He's fallen out of the rotation of late and will get some extended work in at the G League level to stay sharp heading into the All-Star break.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Returns to NBA squad
The Thunder recalled Mann from the G League's Oklahoma City Blue and upgraded him to available for Monday's game against the Pelicans. Mann looks like he'll get the chance to pull double duty Monday, as he previously appeared in the Blue's 133-113 loss to the Memphis Hustle earlier in the day. He played 33 minutes for the Blue, logging a team-high 24 points (10-20 FG, 4-8 3Pt) to go with seven rebounds, six assists and two steals. Mann should be able to handle a small role off the bench for the Thunder behind starting guards Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Recalled from G League
Mann was recalled from the G League's Oklahoma City Blue on Monday, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports. Mann was sent to the G League on Monday but wasn't forced to miss any of the Thunder's games. He'll presumably be available for Monday's game against the Pelicans, and he's averaged 11.2 points in 18.0 minutes per game over five appearances in February.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Sent to G League
The Thunder assigned Mann to the G League's Oklahoma City Blue on Monday, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports. Mann appeared to recapture a larger role on the Thunder's second unit of late and averaged 11.2 points on 43.8 percent shooting from the field over his first five games of February, so the NBA team's decision to send him to the G League is somewhat surprising. Though Mann likely won't be in store for a long-term stay in the G League, his assignment to the Blue probably means he won't be available for the Thunder's game Monday against the Pelicans. With Mann out of the picture temporarily, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins appear poised to serve as the Thunder's primary reserve guards Monday.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Settling in as capable bench scorer
Mann provided 18 points (8-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes in Monday's 141-114 loss to the Warriors. Mann looked to be on the fringe of head coach Mark Daigneault's rotation for parts of January, but he seems to be locked in as the Thunder's first guard off the bench for the moment in light of his hot start to February. He's hit double figures in the scoring column in each of the Thunder's first three games this month, averaging 15.7 points and 2.3 three-pointers on 46.2 percent shooting from the field. Mann typically offers little else in other categories, so his fantasy upside will remain capped unless Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and/or Josh Giddey miss time and he's needed to take on more minutes.... Thunder's Tre Mann: Provides spark off bench
Mann amassed 18 points (6-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one steal over 17 minutes during Wednesday's 112-106 loss to the Rockets. Mann scored double-digit points for the first time since Jan. 12 on Wednesday. His four three-pointers made were also his second-most of the season.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Hits rock bottom Friday
Mann finished Friday's 112-100 win over the Cavaliers with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over nine minutes. Mann failed to score in nine minutes Friday, a solemn performance in what has been a season full of disappointment. He has not scored more than seven points in over two weeks, and his playing time has fluctuated wildly from one night to the next. He can be looked at for streaming purposes when afforded meaningful minutes, although, at this point, that is only likely to occur when Shai Gilgeous-Alexander misses time.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Season-best performance Tuesday
Mann supplied 21 points (8-11 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and three steals across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 150-117 win over the Celtics. Mann stepped up with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (illness) on the sideline, turning in his best all-around performance of the season. Mann has now scored at least 17 points in three of his past four games. His role tends to fluctuate from night to night, meaning the strong run of production could simply be a hot stretch. He isn't a player yet worth targeting in 12-team category or points leagues, but he may be worth streaming on future occasions when either Gilgeous-Alexander or Josh Giddey happen to be sitting out.... Thunder's Tre Mann: Once again leads bench in scoring
Mann finished with 17 points (8-19 FG, 1-9 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists across 23 minutes during Thursday's 121-113 loss to the Hornets. Mann led the Thunder bench with his second consecutive game of at least 15 points, and he has reached double figures in three of his last four outings. Mann has recorded 15 or more points in five games this year.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Settles back into rotation
Mann finished with 17 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three assists, one rebound and one steal across 28 minutes in Tuesday's 130-114 win over the Spurs. After a recent stint with the G League's Oklahoma City Blue, Mann has resurfaced in the NBA squad's rotation over the past two games. Mann saw more run than usual Tuesday while starter Luguentz Dort was limited to 22 minutes, but given the volatile nature of the Thunder rotation this season, it's tough to rely on that trend carrying over into Thursday's game at Charlotte. With six three-pointers in 11 attempts over his past two outings, though, it wouldn't be surprising if Mann was prioritized over Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins while he's sporting a hot hand.... Thunder's Tre Mann: Bound for G League
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said after Saturday's 115-109 loss to the Grizzlies that Mann will join the G League's Oklahoma City Blue in the coming days, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. Mann's demotion will come even after he played well off the bench Saturday, finishing with 11 points (4-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 18 minutes. However, he had averaged just 7.8 minutes per contest in the four games prior to Saturday and is shooting 34.8 percent from the field in December, so Mann looks like he'll be sent to the G League not only to pick up playing time but also to hopefully rediscover his shooting stroke. The elevated minutes he received Saturday were largely a byproduct of backcourt starters Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (back) and Josh Giddey (illness) both sitting out the second half of a back-to-back set.... Thunder's Tre Mann: Fails to score in eight minutes
Mann contributed zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists in eight minutes during Friday's 112-110 loss to the Timberwolves. Mann logged just eight minutes off the bench in the loss, continuing what has been a frustrating period for the second-year player. He opened the season with a number of encouraging performances but has since fallen well off the radar in terms of standard fantasy value. At this point, he would require several key players to miss time to produce at a 12-team level.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Light run in return
Mann (back) finished with three points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two assists and one rebound across 12 minutes in Monday's 129-119 loss to the Knicks. Mann made his return from a three-game absence due to a sore back and saw a season-low minutes total for any game in which he didn't exit early due to injury. The second-year guard's playing-time outlook could improve slightly in the games to come, but it's also possible that finding more minutes for surging rookie Jalen Williams is a greater priority for the Thunder.... Thunder's Tre Mann: Available Monday
Mann (back) is available for Monday's contest against the Knicks, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. After missing the Thunder's past three outings, Mann is officially available for Oklahoma City on Monday. The second-year pro is averaging 11.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 24.1 minutes throughout his first 13 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Upgraded to questionable Monday
Mann (back) is questionable for Monday's game against the Knicks. Mann was initially listed as out for Monday's matchup, but he was one of several players that the Thunder upgraded to questionable a few hours before tipoff. Even if he's available, it's possible that he faces a minutes restriction after missing the last three games.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Tre Mann: Listed out Monday
Mann (back) is listed as out for Monday's game against the Knicks, Clemente Almanza of The Thunder Wire reports. Mann continues to nurse a sore back and will miss a fourth straight game. Continue to consider the 2021 first-rounder questionable on a game-to-game basis as OKC heads into a four-game week. His next chance to play will come Wednesday against Denver.... See More ...
