Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Undergoes successful surgery
Minnesota announced Wednesday that Reid underwent successful surgery to repair a left scaphoid fracture and will be sidelined infinitely
Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Reid is looking at a six-week absence following the surgery, so the Timberwolves will need to make a deep postseason run for the talented big man to even have a shot at returning this season. The injury couldn't have come at a worse time for Reid, who averaged 18.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals-plus-blocks with 57/37/76 shooting splits over his last eight appearances before breaking his wrist.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Sidelined for six weeks
Reid will undergo surgery on his fractured left wrist and will be sidelined for six weeks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
This is a brutal blow for Minnesota, as Reid was in the midst of the best stretch of his career. With Reid out of the lineup for quite a while, we could see Minnesota go with some smaller lineups, which would benefit Jaden McDaniels and Kyle Anderson.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Out indefinitely
Reid had an MRI taken Thursday, which revealed a left scaphoid fracture, and he'll remain out indefinitely.
Reid had been on a tear of late, posting 18.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals-plus-blocks with 57/37/76 shooting splits over his past eight appearances, so his absence will be a significant blow to Minnesota over the final five games of the regular season. The Timberwolves haven't ruled out a potential playoff return, but the lack of a timetable suggests Reid playing again this season would require a miraculous turnaround in a short amount of time.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Diagnosed with broken wrist
Reid (wrist) is expected to miss a significant period of time, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
After landing on the injury report as questionable heading into Friday's matchup with the Lakers, Reid suffered a broken wrist and should be considered out indefinitely for now. The center was having one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in 18.4 minutes of action. Expect Nathan Knight and Taurean Prince to see additional minutes while Reid is unavailable.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Questionable Friday
Reid is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Lakers due to a left wrist injury.
Despite the return of Karl-Anthony Towns (calf), Reid has taken his game up a notch. He's reached at least 12 points in the past eight games, averaging 18.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 21.9 minutes. If he's forced to miss his first game since March 13, more minutes could be in store for Nathan Knight and Taurean Prince (illness).

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Provides spark off bench
Reid closed Monday's 119-115 win over the Kings with 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 21 minutes.
Reid has been absolutely stellar for Minnesota lately, averaging 18.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.0 steals-plus-blocks in 21.7 minutes over his last seven appearances. Despite not being a starter or playing over 30 minutes on a daily basis, Reid's still capable of above-average fantasy outings anytime he steps onto the court.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Explodes for team-high 23 points
Reid ended with 23 points (10-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes during Sunday's 99-96 win over the Warriors.
Reid made a significant impact during only 21 minutes of work. Sunday's game flow revealed a continuing correlation between Reid and Gobert, although the two shared the court for a few minutes in the second quarter. Karl-Anthony Towns' return seemed to have no bearing on Reid's usage, as the two shared the court frequently when Gobert took breaks. Reid was especially effective in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 points that included two three-pointers.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Thrives off bench in win
Reid logged 26 points (11-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and two steals across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 125-124 win over the Hawks.
Reid's fantasy upside has usually been capped when Rudy Gobert is available, but the former has still found a way to 20 or more minutes in four straight contests while Gobert has cleared 30 minutes in each of those contests. Head coach Chris Finch said following Wednesday's game that he wants to see more of Reid and Gobert alongside one another, though the return of power forward Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) from an extended absence Wednesday could complicate those plans. Regardless, Reid looks like he could be an interesting speculative pickup if he ends up sticking in a 20-to-25-minute role. Over the past four games, he's averaging 18.5 points, 4.3 boards, 1.3 assists, 0.8 three-pointers, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks in 22.8 minutes while shooting 63.3 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Available against New York
Reid (calf) is available for Monday's game against the Knicks.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Iffy for Monday's contest
Reid is questionable for Monday's game in New York due to left calf soreness.
Despite battling the sore calf, Reid scored a team-high 22 points off the bench during Saturday's loss to Toronto, but he finds himself on the injury report again. He's appeared in three straight games, including a back-to-back set, and has averaged 17.0 points and 4.3 rebounds during that stretch, so barring a turn for the worse, it seems safe to expect Reid to suit up Monday. However, fantasy managers are still encouraged to confirm his availability ahead of the 7:30 p.m. ET tip.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Lone bright spot in loss
Reid recorded 22 points (8-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 20 minutes during Saturday's 122-107 loss to Toronto.
Reid came off the bench and scored a team-high 22 points, but it wasn't enough as the Timberwolves struggled to find any offensive consistency without Anthony Edwards (ankle). Over his past three appearances, Reid has averaged 17.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 21.3 minutes per game.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Questionable Saturday
Reid (calf) is questionable for Saturday's game against Toronto.
Reid is at risk of missing the closing end of the Timberwolves' back-to-back set Saturday after logging 25 minutes in Friday's loss to the Bulls. He has dealt with lingering soreness in his left calf throughout the past week but has played through the injury in the last two contests. With Rudy Gobert (ankle) also questionable, Nathan Knight could be thrust into a significant role if one of Reid or Gobert sits.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Ready to go Friday
Reid (calf) is available for Friday's game against Chicago.
Reid will play in his second straight contest despite carrying a questionable tag. Rudy Gobert (ankle) has also been cleared to play, meaning Reid is likely looking at minutes in the teens against the Bulls.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Questionable Friday
Reid (calf) is questionable for Friday's game against Chicago.
Reid returned from a one-game absence Wednesday against the Celtics, but he's still dealing with a sore left calf ahead of Friday's matchup. Rudy Gobert (ankle) is also questionable, so if Reid is cleared to play, his role will likely depend on whether Gobert is available.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Strong showing off bench in return
Reid (calf) finished Wednesday's 104-102 loss to the Celtics with 15 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes.
Back in action after a one-game absence, Reid slotted back into his familiar role as the Timberwolves' backup center and finished with a bench-leading scoring total. He didn't overlap with Rudy Gobert (29 minutes) at any point during the contest, however, and unless Gobert misses time due to injury or succumbs to foul trouble on a given night, Reid looks like he may struggle to push past 20 minutes on any sort of regular basis.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Absent from injury report
Reid (calf) is available for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Reid missed Monday's tilt with left calf soreness but is back in action for Wednesday's contest. He should step into his usual backup center role behind Rudy Gobert. Reid has averaged just 8.0 points and 3.7 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game over his last three appearances.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Questionable Wednesday
Reid (calf) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Reid missed the last game due to his calf injury, which allowed Luka Garza to get some extended run in the rotation behind Rudy Gobert. However, Gobert is also being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game due to his nagging left ankle sprain, so if both Reid and Gobert are forced to the sidelines, Garza would be on the radar as a potential streamer.
