Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Will have minutes monitored
Coach J.B. Bickerstaff said Tuesday that team is being mindful of Mitchell's minutes due to his groin injury, Evan Dammarell of FearTheSword.com reports.
Mitchell played just 20 minutes Sunday after missing five of the previous games with a groin injury. Bickerstaff said the goal is to get the star guard to around 30 minutes as he ramps his workload back up. However, fantasy managers should expect Mitchell to see reduced playing time in his next few outings.... See More ... See Less
Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Handed probable tag
Love (back) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Heat.
After experiencing a recurrence of back spasms shortly before Sunday's eventual win over the Clippers, Love ended up sitting out a third game in a row. He participated in practice Monday, however, and avoided any apparent complications, setting the stage for him to rejoin the rotation Tuesday. In his last nine appearances prior to the back injury, Love averaged 4.8 points and 5.2 rebounds across 16.4 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less

Cavaliers' Robin Lopez: Cameo appearance Sunday
Lopez produced two points (1-1 FG), two rebounds, two assists and one block in 10 minutes during Sunday's 122-99 victory over the Clippers.
Lopez made his first appearance in over three weeks, stepping into the rotation as the game descended into garbage time. Now firmly in the twilight of his career, Lopez is basically a strong locker-room presence and nothing more. He has appeared in only eight games over the past two months, finding himself on the outside looking in when it comes to playing meaningful minutes.... See More ... See Less
Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Quiet in Sunday's return
Mitchell (groin) contributed 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Sunday's 122-99 victory over the Clippers.
Mitchell returned from a groin injury Sunday and with the game well in control, he was able to get some much-needed rest down the stretch. While the production was underwhelming, the fact he came through the game unscathed should be seen as a positive. The Cavaliers might opt to ease him back slowly given his importance to the team, meaning managers may have to wait a little while longer before he hits his stride.... See More ... See Less
Cavaliers' Cedi Osman: Erupts for season-high 29 points
Osman ended Sunday's 122-99 victory over the Clippers with 29 points (11-13 FG, 7-7 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block across 22 minutes.
Osman was just about flawless from the field in the win, putting together easily his best game of the season. Up against an undermanned Clippers team, Osman was able to get to his spots with ease while also chipping in three combined blocks and steals. Though his performance is sure to turn some heads, it came on the back of unsustainable shooting, and Osman also saw a slight uptick in playing time while the Cavaliers were down a key frontcourt piece in Kevin Love (back). Osman had averaged 8.2 points in 17.4 minutes per game on 46.9 shooting from the field over his prior five games, and that level of efficiency, playing time and scoring production is probably more representative of what to expect from him moving forward.... It's unclear if Mitchell fully participated during shootaround, but Kelsey Russo of The Athletic relays that the All-Star guard was spotted getting shots up after the session. Both of these reports suggest Mitchell, who's missed back-to-back and five of Cleveland's last six games due to the groin injury, will return to action Sunday night, but fantasy managers will have to confirm the All-Star guard's availability prior to the 7 p.m. ET tip....
