  • Grizzlies' Kenneth Lofton: Sent to G League

The Grizzlies transferred Lofton to the G League's Memphis Hustle on Tuesday.

Lofton has played in only three NBA games this season, with his last appearance coming Nov. 25 against New Orleans. Across six appearances with the Hustle, Lofton is averaging 27.2 points in 33.7 minutes per game.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Transferred to G League

The Grizzlies transferred Williams to the G League's Memphis Hustle on Tuesday.

Williams saw a career-high 14 minutes in Monday's win over Miami, but he'll be sent to the G League, along with Kennedy Chandler and Kenneth Lofton, a day later. Across three appearances with the Hustle, Williams is averaging 11.7 points in 32.0 minutes per game.

  • Grizzlies' Kennedy Chandler: Assigned to G League

The Grizzlies assigned Chandler to the G League's Memphis Hustle on Tuesday.

Chandler set career highs in points (nine), assists (five) and minutes (26) during Monday's win over Miami, but he's been sent to the G League, along with Vince Williams and Kenneth Lofton, a day later. Chandler's appeared in only one game for the Hustle (Nov. 17 against Rio Grande) and totaled 14 points in 32 minutes.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Logs career-high 14 minutes

Williams finished Monday's 101-93 win over Miami with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and two steals in 14 minutes.

Williams saw meaningful minutes for the first time in his career, slotting in as the Grizzlies ran with an undermanned lineup. Unfortunately, he failed to offer much outside of two steals, and despite the feel-good storyline, he can be safely left on waivers across all formats.

  • Grizzlies' Steven Adams: Quiet in Monday's return

Adams posted eight points (4-6 FG), four rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes during Monday's 101-93 victory over the Heat.

Adams returned to action Monday but struggled to get anything going. It was simply not his night when it comes to tangible production, although the fact he played 28 minutes is a positive. While he will be better than this on most nights, his lack of versatility does limit his fantasy upside. He can be rostered for anyone in need of an efficient scorer who can crash the glass, be it as a long-term option or a streaming consideration.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Crafty double-double in win

Aldama finished with 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Monday's 101-93 victory over the Heat.

Aldama came through for anyone who managed to stream him in, delivering his best performance in almost a month. With Jaren Jackson (rest) given the night off, Aldama stepped in as the starter, compiling just his third double-double of the season. While it was a strong performance, Jackson should return for the next game, sending Aldama back to the bench.

  • Grizzlies' Tyus Jones: Erupts for season-high 28 points

Jones notched 28 points (10-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Monday's 101-93 victory over the Heat.

Jones moved into the starting lineup Monday, doing his best Ja Morant (ankle) impression in what was a season-best performance. While jones was likely streamed across a number of formats, it would certainly not have been because of expected points production. He came to the party in more ways than one, delivering not only double-digit assists but also a season-high 28 points. Morant's injury doesn't sound as though it is going to cost him significant time, meaning Jones is likely headed back to the wire despite this effort.

  • Grizzlies' Tyus Jones: Starting at point guard

Jones will start Monday's game against the Heat.

Jones will draw a spot start with Ja Morant (ankle) listed out for Monday's clash. Jones has scored in double figures in each of his last two starts, came Nov. 13 and Nov. 20.

  • Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke: Back in bench role

Clarke will come off the bench Monday against the Heat.

Clarke drew a rare spot start Sunday against the Pistons, but he'll return to his usual bench role Monday with Steven Adams (hip) back in action.

  • Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Gets chance with first unit

Aldama is starting Monday's game against Miami.

Aldama is set to draw his first start since Nov. 20, when he finished with eight points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 21 minutes. He should see plenty of chances with both Jaren Jackson (foot) and Jake LaRavia (foot) out.

  • Grizzlies' David Roddy: Enters starting five

Roddy is starting Monday against the Heat.

Roddy will get a chance with the first unit with Ja Morant (ankle), Desmond Bane (toe) and John Konchar (toe) all out. This marks Roddy's first start of his young NBA career.

  • Grizzlies' Ziaire Williams: Ruled out

Williams (knee) won't play in Monday's game against Miami.

Williams has been dealing with right knee tendinitis and has yet to take the floor this season. His next chance to return arrives Wednesday against Oklahoma City.

  • Grizzlies' Jake LaRavia: Out once again Monday

LaRavia (foot) is out for Monday's contest against Miami.

The 21-year-old will officially miss his fourth straight contest as he continues to recover from a foot injury. LaRavia's next chance to take the court comes Wednesday against the Thunder.

  • Grizzlies' John Konchar: Won't go vs. Heat

Konchar (toe) won't play in Monday's game against Miami.

Konchar has officially been ruled out after being added to the injury report as doubtful earlier in the day. Ja Morant (ankle) and Desmond Bane (toe) are also out, leaving plenty of chances for Tyus Jones, Kennedy Chandler and David Roddy.

  • Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Officially out

Morant (ankle) won't play in Monday's game against Miami.

Morant was downgraded to doubtful earlier in the day, so this announcement comes as no surprise. With Desmond Bane (toe) and John Konchar (toe) also ruled out, look for Tyus Jones to shoulder another heavy workload in the backcourt.

  • Grizzlies' Steven Adams: Not on injury report

Adams isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's matchup against Miami.

Adams was sidelined for Sunday's matchup due to a sore right hip, but he'll return to action in the second half of Memphis' back-to-back set. The veteran big man has started all 21 of his appearances this season and is averaging 7.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in 27.0 minutes per game.

  • Grizzlies' Jake LaRavia: Still doubtful

LaRavia (foot) is doubtful for Monday's matchup with the Heat.

LaRavia has missed three games due to foot soreness and is slated to miss a fourth given his doubtful tag. However, the Grizzlies may be in need of an extra body considering Ja Morant (ankle) and John Konchar (toe) are doubtful and Jaren Jackson (injury management) is out. If LaRavia doesn't give it a go Monday, David Roddy and Santi Aldama will be in store for larger workloads.

  • Grizzlies' Ziaire Williams: Considered doubtful for Monday

Williams (knee) is doubtful for Monday's matchup against the Heat.

While Williams is unlikely to play Monday, the doubtful designation is an encouraging sign, as it's the first time he's being listed as something other than out this season. The second-year forward will likely remain sidelined against Miami, but he could make his season debut Wednesday against the Thunder or Friday against the Pistons.

  • Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Unlikely to play Monday

Morant is doubtful for Monday's game against the Heat due to left ankle soreness.

Morant was added to the injury report Monday due to the issue. However, when paired with the fact that Jaren Jackson (injury management) and John Konchar (toe) are out and doubtful, respectively, it seems likely that the Grizzlies are giving out a rest day. If this were is the case, Tyus Jones and Kennedy Chandler will likely handle the brunt of the minutes at point guard.
