  • Jazz's Leandro Bolmaro: Headed to G League

Bolmaro was assigned to the G League's Salt Lake City Stars on Sunday.

Bolmaro hasn't been part of Utah's rotation recently. He should have more opportunities to develop in the G League.

  • Jazz's Ochai Agbaji: Sent to Salt Lake City

Agbaji was assigned to the G League's Salt Lake City Stars on Sunday.

Agbaji was recalled by the Jazz in late November, but he played just five minutes over two appearances during his time with the parent club. His move to the G League should allow him to see more playing time.

  • Jazz's Mike Conley: Targeting return Wednesday

Conley (hand) hopes to play Wednesday against the Warriors, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.

Conley had been battling a lower-leg injury but is now dealing with a sprained hand. The 35-year-old will be monitored in the coming days after fully participating in Monday's practice session, and he'll have a chance to put an end to his eight-game absence Wednesday. Even if he's cleared to play against Golden State, it's possible he'll face a minutes restriction.

  • Jazz's Rudy Gay: Practices Monday

Gay (finger) was a full participant in Monday's practice, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Gay has been out for roughly three weeks due to a finger sprain but is hoping to make his return Wednesday against the Warriors after putting in a full practice session. In his 12 appearances this season, Gay has averaged 4.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game.

  • Jazz's Mike Conley: Logs full practice

Conley (lower leg) was a full participant in Monday's practice, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Conley has been out since Nov. 21 due to a lower leg strain but looks to be approaching a return to the hardwood after logging a full practice Monday. When he does make his return, Collin Sexton will likely move back to the bench. Conley's next chance to take the floor will come Wednesday against Golden State.

  • Jazz's Kelly Olynyk: Comes close to double-double

Olynyk closed with 15 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Saturday's 116-111 loss to the Trail Blazers.

One of the most versatile big men in the league, Olynyk can shine as a scorer but can also contribute across the board. Olynyk has gone 10 straight games without a double-double, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been productive -- he has scored in double digits in each of his last six appearances and is averaging 12.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.5 steals/blocks combined across his last 10 contests.

  • Jazz's Lauri Markkanen: Scores 21 sloppy points in loss

Markkanen accumulated 21 points (4-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 9-9 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals in 35 minutes during Saturday's 116-111 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Markkanen had a few costly turnovers down the stretch that could have swung the game in a different way, but even in that scenario, Markkanen had another excellent fantasy performance. He extended his streak of games with at least 20 points to four contests, and he's achieved that mark in eight of his last 10 appearances. The former Cavaliers and Bulls forward is having a career-best season thus far, putting up personal-high marks points, assists and blocks per game, as well as field-goal percentage and three-point percentage.

  • Jazz's Jordan Clarkson: Struggles with shot Saturday

Clarkson ended with 24 points (10-26 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 36 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 116-111 loss to Portland.

Clarkson has scored at least 20 points in eight of his last 10 appearances and his role as Utah's go-to player on offense is not under question. This may not have been his most efficient night, but he still provided valuable counting stats for fantasy managers. The former Lakers and Cavaliers guard is averaging a career-best 19.7 points per game in 2022-23.

  • Jazz's Mike Conley: Out again

Conley (leg) will remain sidelined for Saturday's tilt against the Trail Blazers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Conley's absence will mark his eighth straight game missed due to a strained leg. Collin Sexton has seen an extended stint in the starting lineup as a result. Utah will not play again until Wednesday against the Warriors, so the veteran point guard will have some more time to heal before another potential return.

  • Jazz's Rudy Gay: Out again Saturday

Gay (finger) won't dress for Saturday's game versus the Trail Blazers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Gay doesn't have a defined target date for his return to the floor, but he remains out Saturday and hasn't suited up since Nov. 13. His next opportunity to do so arrives Wednesday versus the Warriors.

  • Jazz's Simone Fontecchio: Gets extra run Friday

Fontecchio produced nine points (3-5 FG, 3-4 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 21 minutes during Friday's 139-119 win over Indiana.

Fontecchio saw a career-high 21 minutes in the blowout win and made good use of the opportunity, drilling three of four attempts from deep to finish with nine points. Though he didn't add much else in terms of counting stats, the rookie continued to show that he can contribute as a shooter at the NBA level. He's made 42.4 percent of his three-point attempts on the season and has knocked down three triples on three different occasions.

  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Career-best performance in win

Kessler ended Friday's 139-119 victory over the Pacers with 20 points (7-7 FG, 6-8 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 25 minutes.

Kessler enjoyed his best game as a pro Friday, establishing his high mark in scoring with 20 points while making all seven of his field-goal attempts. The talented rookie also grabbed a career-high 11 boards to record his first NBA double-double. While Kessler can't usually be counted on as a scorer, he's been quite reliable as a shot blocker of late, posting multiple swats in four of his past six contests.

  • Jazz's Lauri Markkanen: Leads Jazz in points and boards

Markkanen logged 24 points (8-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Friday's 139-119 victory over the Pacers.

Markkanen fell one rebound short of a double-double in each of his previous two contests coming into Friday, and he was able to reach the elusive accomplishment while tying his season-high mark in boards against the Pacers. The emerging forward was very efficient with a 5-for-9 mark from three-point range, giving him 16 triples over his past three contests. Markkanen has blossomed in his first year in Utah, posting career-best marks of 22.3 points and 2.6 three-pointers to go along with 8.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.7 blocks per contest.

  • Jazz's Rudy Gay: Still out

Gay (finger) will miss Friday's game against the Pacers, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Gay was ruled out for at least two weeks Nov. 17 and will remain out Friday against the Pacers. Simone Fontecchio should continue to see extended run for as long as Gay is out. His next chance to play will come Saturday against the Pacers.
