Bridges operated in a limited workload for the third consecutive contest with Brooklyn's season being inconsequential in the bigger picture down the stretch. The 27-year remains an elite two-way player, but substantial evidence arose this season suggesting Bridges may not be a go-to, No.1 option in an offense, and that attempting to be one is damaging to his defensive intensity.
Martin (ankle) won't play against the 76ers on Sunday.
Martin will wind up missing the Nets' final three games of the season due to a left ankle sprain, which he sustained while playing last Sunday in the G League Long Island Nets' loss to the Maine Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals of the G League playoffs. This will be the first start of the season for Watford. He's been getting extended run recently, posting averages of 10.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.6 three-pointers in five April appearances.
