Niang saw an increased role on offense Sunday with the Cavaliers resting multiple players including Donovan Mitchell (knee) and Darius Garland (back). Niang hit on four threes for the 10th time of the season as he led Cleveland in scoring. He finishes his first regular season with the Cavaliers averaging 9.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 22.3 minutes per contest while playing all 82 games.

Strus was more involved in the offense Sunday with Donovan Mitchell (knee), Darius Garland (back) and Caris LeVert (knee) all sitting out of the Cavs' regular-season finale. Strus took advantage of the expanded role as he registered the first triple-double of his career and a career-high 11 assists. He ends his first regular season in Cleveland averaging 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists over 32.0 minutes per game.

Cavaliers' Craig Porter: Exits due to injury
Porter has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against Charlotte after suffering an apparent left ankle sprain in the first quarter, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
With Darius Garland (back) sitting out the regular-season finale, Porter drew the start but was limited to just 10 minutes of court time before exiting with the injury. He totaled two points (1-2 FG), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block before departing. Fedor notes that Porter wasn't putting any weight on his injured leg upon exiting the court, so the rookie's availability for the start of the Cavaliers' postseason run could be in question.

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Officially out
Garland (back) will not play in Sunday's game against the Hornets, Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com reports.
No surprise here, as Garland was deemed doubtful heading into Sunday. He will now set his sights on getting his health back up to par before Cleveland's playoff bid tips off. In his absence, Craig Porter will start at point guard.

Garland amassed 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-5 3Pt), two rebounds and four assists across 29 minutes during Friday's 129-120 win over the Pacers.
Garland was noticeably passive in the win, attempting just 11 field goals en route to 16 points. Although he has been able to increase his production over the past two weeks, the same cannot be said for the season as a whole. Given how disappointing he has been, there is a good chance he is available at a nice discount next season, especially if he can take on a larger responsibility on the offensive end.

Niang did his thing, connecting on three triples as the Cavaliers secured a crucial victory. The two steals were a nice bonus, but not something managers should be expecting. While he has established himself as a consistent part of the rotation in Cleveland, he has no sustainable fantasy value.
