Eagles linebacker Kiko Alonso's (knee) status for Sunday's game against the Redskins is up in the air, according to the Eagles' official Twitter account.

Alonso wasn't in the building when the report first surfaced Tuesday, prompting some speculation that the 25-year-old may be ruled out of this week's game with an ACL sprain. However, Eagles defensive coordinator Bill Davis didn't want to lean in either direction.

With Alonso and Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) missing Sunday's contest against the Jets, rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks made a big impact, recording 10 tackles, one interception and recovering a fumble. He could potentially earn additional snaps with the starting group should Kendricks or Alonso miss more time.
