Lions defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker (leg) is having surgery to repair a broken fibula, and he will be placed on injured reserve, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Walker and Haloti Ngata (calf), the Lions' starting defensive tackles, both suffered injuries during Monday's loss to the Seahawks. Ngata's injury doesn't appear nearly as serious, so the Lions may only need to replace one starter. Caraun Reid and Gabe Wright figure to see more snaps.
