Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy (hip) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, the Lions' official site reports.
Only 10 days after inking a four-year extension with the Lions on Aug. 10, Levy sustained a hip injury in the second preseason contest and was unable to practice in the interim.
The return to drills increases the chances he makes his season debut Monday at Seattle, but the Lions could confirm his availability upon the release of Saturday's injury report. Once he returns, he'll attempt to accrue 100-plus tackles for the fourth time in five campaigns.
