Eagles linebacker Kiko Alonso is expected to play again this season following a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews, Dan Hanzus of NFL.com reports.

During Andrews' evaluation, he scoped Alonso's knee to determine the extent of the damage to his left knee, according to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News. Andrews found the ACL intact within that knee, but a return to the field won't be considered as Alonso takes the next month to rehab.

In the meantime, DeMeco Ryans, Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) and Jordan Hicks will handle the two inside linebacker spots.
