Bills' Micah Hyde: Ruled out for divisional round
Hyde (neck) won't play in Sunday's divisional-round matchup against Cincinnati, Michael Giardi of NFL Network reports.
As expected, Hyde will remain out for back-to-back games to start the postseason with a neck injury that has kept him on injured reserve since Week 2. The Bills did open his 21-day practice window ahead of wild-card weekend, but it's unclear if he'll be able to play again this season. Dean Marlowe figures to start at free safety alongside Jordan Poyer against Joe Burrow and the Bengals' terrific passing attack.

Bills' Micah Hyde: Ruled out for wild-card round
Hyde (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Dolphins, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Head coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Hyde will not be available for this weekend's game versus Miami, and he will also remain out next week if the Bills advance. The safety has been on injured reserve since late September after sustaining a neck injury, and although his 21-day practice window has been opened, there's no guarantee he will return at any point in the postseason.

Bills' Micah Hyde: Practice window activated
The Bills announced Wednesday that Hyde (neck) has been designated for a return to practice from IR.
Hyde can be fully activated at any point within his 21-day practice window, though Adam Schefter of ESPN reports he isn't expected to play Sunday versus the Dolphins. The safety is recovering from neck surgery undergone mid-October.

Bills' Micah Hyde: Not ruling out potential return
Hyde (neck) has been working out to the side at practice with the other players on injured reserve, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Hyde has yet to be officially ruled out for the remainder of the season, as general manager Brandon Beane said last week that they "haven't ruled anything out," though it is still too far out to know. The safety went down with a neck injury in late September, which he underwent surgery for in mid-October. Hyde's status is worth monitoring moving forward, though he still remains a bit of a longshot to come back this year.

Bills' Micah Hyde: Plans to continue career
Hyde, who suffered a season-ending neck injury in Week 2, is back with the team and has been advising fellow players following successful surgery, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.
While Hyde has been ruled out for the 2022 season, he stated that he plans to resume his career in 2023 following the scary injury. The top-ranked Buffalo defense has held up well without such a key player, but there are very few tandems who can top Buffalo's safety duo of Hyde and Jordan Poyer, so the team will be better off with Hyde back in the mix next season, assuming his rehab goes smooth.
