Su'a-Filo was designated to return on Dec. 29 and hasn't suited up since Week 2. He began the season starting at right guard, but he'll now likely play a reserve role on the Bengals' offensive line beginning with Saturday's divisional-round battle against the Titans.

Su'a-Filo got dinged up during Sunday's contest against the Bears, but he doesn't appear to be dealing with a major injury. If he is unable to suit up in Week 3, Jackson Carman would be the most likely candidate to replace him at right guard.

Coach Zac Taylor said Monday that Su'a-Filo (ankle) isn't expected to return to the lineup until Week 10, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
The plan is to keep Su'a-Filo shut down through the bye week, which would allow him to return against the Steelers on Nov. 15. Alex Redmond is slated to start at right guard until Su'a-Filo returns.
